Melo is a great scorer, but that's the only thing he was great at.
PP was an all around player. Much better passer and facilitator, much better defender, better team player, and could still give you 25-30 a game consistently. Plus he was a winner.

Paul pierce had a better career and was a better all around player. Me lo came to the league with more hype and a much bigger fan base due to his early rivalry with Bron. At one poimt bron and melo were supposed to be the new magic vs bird rivalry. Melo was never a winner like paul pierce or scored as easily as paul pierce did. Never seen someone who lacked not only elite athletic ability but even above average athleticism be able to get anywhere he wants on the floor and score.

Explosiveness...north-south speed...fluidity... agility...reflexes...body control.
