:heh: at people in here trying to say that sixers squad wasnt garbage

AI before he got started to team hop, had the 3rd highest PPG average in the entire NBA history... only behind WILT and JORDAN, it didnt start to dip until he started playing garbage time after he got traded from the nuggets.. for 10 fukking years ONLY JORDAN AND WILT had a higher PPG than Iverson so miss me with that McGrady was a better scrorer shyt. AI had the ability to take over games like maybe 5 people in NBA history have had.

Also I know I dont fukking see people tryna say ERIC fukkING SNOW was a good player and shyt

you got this chump @GreatestLaker and others in ONE thread talking about how MVPS and awards dont mean shyt cause Kobe and Shaq only got 1 MVP and they change the criteria for awards every season. But then you got these same clowns in this thread talking about how AI had defensive player of the year and 6th man of the year and coach of the year like GEORGE fukkING KARL didnt win it THIS YEAR and then get FIRED. Like MARC GASOL didnt win DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR THIS YEAR and didnt even make ALL DEFENSIVE 1st TEAM :dead:

AI willed that team to the play offs and the finals and shytted on the lakers something horrible even when kobe was guarding him

:dead: at DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR getting completed shytted on by Shaq that ENTIRE series

BUT HE GOT THE AWARD THO RIGHT ? SO HE MUSTA DESERVED IT :aicmon:

why does this forum have so many fukking hypocrites ??? They cant make up their mind when it comes to a subject only to sway it in whatever player they are stanning favor..

awards dont mean shyt because kobe and shaq only got 1 mvp
but awards mean something when being used to judge other players

:pacspit: this bytch @GreatestLaker

Iverson scored so much because he took so many damn shots. What's his efficiency and FG% though?

This nikka attemped 25-27 shots a goddamn game and had a shooting percentage less than 40% one year.

You got nikkas like Bron averaging 31 points on 48% shooting and people think what Iverson did was impressive?

Iverson was a volume scorer and inefficient. That doesn't make him a good scorer, he just took more attempts.

I'd take a healthy Brandon Roy over Iverson.

Iverson would have WOAT level shooting nights and they would still win consistently because the backbone of that team was defense and rebounding. He was up and down that entire 01' playoffs

Once sixers defense fell off they were never the same

So we are just going to throw efficiency out of the window? Not only was Orlando McGrady more efficient. He also had a bigger offensive arsenal.

T-Mac like Harden and Richmond had great skill and talent was a shyt teammate and did nothing for the team. Their on/off court statistical contributions are shytty at best for a player of their caliber. Easily A.I.

Think about it. When Kobe was on an island, he still got the 8th seed. MJ on an island, 8th seed. A.I. on an island, still decent record, playoffs or not. T-Mac on an island, his team (21-61) had one of the worse record in the NBA. Sorry, I don't want to here shyt about Tracy McGrady mentioned with Allen "The Answer" Iverson again.

:comeon:

04 was the start of T-mac's downfall. He suffered from back problems that entire season. Look what he did in 03 when he was healthy.

Lets pretend that 99 didn't happen. :comeon:

Like how you pretending you didnt read my post :heh:
I didn't mention any awards in this thread. So don't know what you're talking about. Mckie, Brown and Mutumbo were more deserving of their awards than AI was of his. I do know that.

Iverson took A LOT of shots. That explains his high scoring averages. He wasn't a better scorer than Kobe, McGrady, Shaq etc. during that time.

Man.............................. I remember Tmac getting dimes to scrubs like Andrew DeClerq, John Amoechi. His number 2 option was a young Mike Miller. Then they fukked up and got Drew Gooden's bum ass.

McGrady made his teammates better. He was unselfish, nobody complained about him, and his assist numbers were usually higher than Kobe's in that era.

And when his jumpshot was on, it was like he could not miss. No matter what. That was until Tayshaun Prince, but still...

Tmac used to block dudes fadaway jumpshots. In the playoffs. He really wanted to win. He had the killer instinct too.

Actually the first game i ever saw of Tmac in orlando was against Philly. Tmac had a game winning layup high off the glass. From that day on, I started following him and his career. The difference between Tmac's Orlando teams and Phillys teams were obvious. You give Tmac Mutombo from 01 and its a diff story. Or even Ratliff. Who did Tmac have? Michael Doleac????

Those magic teams were abysmal compared to that 01 philly team especially. The east was really watered down but the Magic just had the shyttiest roster.

Not to take away from AI, who i love. But reality says Tmac was better, just had a worse career.
