Who was the Better Player Allen Iverson or T-Mac?

The 2001 Sixers were built just like the mid 90s Pacers were built with Larry Brown. A one dimensional scorer surrounded by 4 very good to great defenders. Iverson was very fortunate that year, thats why the good vibes only lasted one year. As basketball players he couldnt touch Tracy McGrady. Id love to see how Iverson would have done with Darrell Armstrong, Andrew DeClercq and Gordan Giricek. Ha.

I said built 'with' which is certainly different than saying built 'by'. Someone skimmed and saw what they wanted to see. How were the teams so different? Hell, the Bulls a couple of years ago won the same way.

If your talking peak/prime then its Tracy Mcgrady, but the only reason i'd take prime Tracy was because of his height and length. He was essentially a taller, longer, better shooting version of Kobe before all his injuries.


But knowing that Tracy Mcgrady's body is made of hopes and dreams i'd take AI for career play

word i remember when the sixers were playing the Lakers in the finals and i thought..."this sixers team made the finals?" AI was special and could elevate his game when it mattered most. TMac never really did shyt in the playoffs

Prime Tmac has the same advantages over Prime Iverson that Kobe does.

Better shooter, better scorer, better rebounder, better defensively, and a better playmaker. Basically everything, plus being taller helps
