What I'm planning on doing. That's where the real money is, plus you ain't stuck in a warehouse all day with supervisors breathing down your neck.
Yep and you can drive local down the line or Hazmat or Tanker and make good money and be home everyday after work while sitting on your ass all day.

Makes it so you can go harder in the gym. :yeshrug:

I worked at a warehouse doing all that shyt. I felt like a straight up slave. That shyt was agonizing. That shyt motivated me to hit the books and take school serious because if I didn't I would have to do that shyt forever. I told myself school couldn't be harder than that shyt.

That's one thing I forgot to mention as well. Working there made me analyze my entire life's plans and made me map out a way to success. That sh!t makes you think about your LIFE breh. Daily.

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
I worked at two in the early 2000's. I worked at a Blockbuster distribution center and the other one was Home Interiors. I stayed at both for about a month. The pay was garbage ($7.50 an hour) and I only worked there when I was in between careers. Both times I worked the night shift so it wasn't so bad because no managers were there. I looked around and saw people that were old enough to be my dad and was determined to make the necessary changes so I wouldn't be like that at their age.

At the few warehouses I worked at there were cats at each one that have been there for years. I didn't understand how they did it. I used to quit them shyts quick and get on at another staffing agency. I thought I hated school but that shyt made me realize that I hated slave labor much more. That shyt can certainly make you have an epiphany about what you want to do. I'm happy it was hard tho, if it was easy I probably would've been content.

I remember fresh out of HS all my homies trying to get on at a warehouse paying 11.70 an hour thinking that we'd be balling.

shyt is hilarious looking back on it...
Depending on where it was. They could be balling by now. I remember UPS was starting nikkas at $8.00 , but you got like a shyt ton of raises. People was there making $30 an hr. with free health care and tuition reimbursements if they chose to go to school. Can't always laugh at the starting wage.
