For those that wanna forget, Melo won an NCAA championship his college rookie year, what has CP0 accomplished

The fact that Melo is ahead shows that y'all know more about basketball than I thought. I think it's easier to replace CP3 with an average point guard than to replace Carmelo with an average wing, and win a title. I don't like the idea of high usage point guards being the best player on a championship roster either.

Melo, on a team with a rim protecting center, smart game managing point guard, wingman who can hit the outside shot, and a strong stretch 4, is a team that I'd believe could make a run. Something like:

Mike Conley
JJ Reddikk
Melo
Zach Randolph
DeAndre Jordan

The problem with this assessment is that we have seen Melo with an average PG and we have seen CP3 with average wings. Melo has had all the stuff you mentioned in NY and has yet to advance any further in the inferior conference. The lineup you suggested just isn't realistic by any stretch. This isn't 2k. I'm not sold on he and Randolph being able to co-exist and Randolph is far from a stretch 4. We aren't just comparing positions or possibilities here we are comparing actual players with actual track records that have been in a variety of circumstances.

Melo never had a player as good as Blake . And when he had a average to good pg melo made the conference final . You give cp3 a top 10-15 player a top coach and being on a top team in the west snd he can't even get to a conference finals your arguing like a guy who clearly has a bias against melo. I already know you do cause you argued about melo being the best offensive player in the league and would routinely bring up scoring titles a few seasons ago and once he won one I'm pretty sure that was you saying how he played less games and hating . Every melo thread you always argue against melo so it really seems you do have a bias .

blake was a all star b4 cp3 arrived and was already regarded as arguably the best pf in the game , jcraw was just coming off a 6th man of the year award

djo was developing , that was the only player who wasnt established , And melo did not know wat he was getting himself into

im sure melo didnt see amare go from being a a top 10 player in the league to being a washed up injury prone reserve

or felton going from a borderline all star , to a fat overweight bottom 3 starting 5 pg
