Melo and Amare didn't do shyt together when Amare was healthy.
Felton was traded for Melo. Chandler wasn't there when he got there.

How does any of this address the fact that you were flat out wrong about the make up of the team when CP3 went there? I mean seriously you weren't even close.
Knicks have played their best when either STAT or Melo was out. Their run to get back into the playoffs in 2012 featured Melo, and STAT for that matter, watching like the rest of us. Why do you think?

The Knicks were above .500 and the 5th seed when Melo arrived. Amare didn't have any health issues until the playoffs aka after they struggled and ended up a 6th seed. If that was CP3 it would have been his fault they struggled but since it's Melo the struggle never happened because his arrival propelled them into that 6th seed...from the 5th seed. 
But I'm the bias hater.

Man at the end of the day if you're a max player I need to be able to blame your ass if we have a "contender" and never get over the hump, you ain't getting no hundred million and giving me a laundry list of things he shouldn't be expected to do, and since at the end of the day the goal is to put ball through hoop, CP3 and his "should not be expected to score/ take over" ass needs to go sit down somewhere if I'm building a team.
Couldn't the same be said for Melo's "bu...bu...but he needs a PG (other than AI, Chauncey, Miller of course)" ass. Neither guys teams have ever gotten over the hump so how is any of that up for discussion when comparing the two? I'm cool with blaming both or acknowledging factors outside of their control for both. It appears I'm alone in that.
