They been fukkin up since September 96; but least back then they 'tried' with multiple albums, an Oscar nominated doc. But since that last Em shyt, it looks they gave up on everything, not even gon count that wack ass movie by LT :scust:

even though his legacy will never die because his status is that legendary

but with some capable peoples in charge we could have:

1. a biography (still no damn book on his life)
2. a revisited version of Greatest Hits
3. a new movie or series worth a damn

just a few ideas :scust:
damn shame

There’s a 5-part docu-series directed by Allan Hughes that’s coming out next year. I think COVID slowed down the production but it’s coming out. I believe a soundtrack is supposed to release alongside the docu-series as well.

Allen Hughes COVID lockdownFX Documentary Series Tupac & Afeni Shakur – Deadline

generally speaking tho, Pac’s estate hasn’t done a great job, his legacy is largely being upheld by his fans & interviews being done by guys like Art of Dialogue. What’s crazy is that’s there’s STILL unheard material in the vault :leon:

Fans are just selfish really esp Pac fans who bash the music his estate put out.

After he died.... Afeni was in her 50s and she knew absolutely nothing about the music business other than her Son was in it... Seriously doubt she even listened to rap music. So she handled his estate the best way she knew how, so his fans could still enjoy his music.

They couldn't release the original beats bc there was always clearance issues with the tracks and what not.

If you a REAL Pac fan, then you supported regardless to help his Mom and his family bc you know Pac loved his family.

Afeni wanted the people to know her Son was more than just rapping about Women, weed, guns and Hennessy which is why she released his poetry to the public. And she also opened up to TASF Center for underprivileged youth.

Y'all MFz just want what y'all want and didn't see the big picture

An album is being worked on currently with a tentative 2022 release. Personally I think it’s a bit unfair to be so critical of the estate, ppl don’t realize it’s not just as simple as putting together a collection of unreleased tracks and putting them out. So outside of new music what do yawl actually want? What should they be putting out?

All kinds of shyt you could do besides putting out music. Pac got screenplays you could adapt, there's more movies you could make, cartoons but you gotta think laterally. The cacs running the estate don't care about Pac's legacy. They care that people still care, like Elvis or some shyt.
