Yeah, adapting his screenplays would be cool but from my understanding there was still a significant amount of script development that was needed, still, that’s something I would also like to see.

As for another biopic I just don’t think you can cram his life into a 2 hour movie, I’ve always maintained the only way to do it properly is a series, you damn near need a whole season just to cover Afeni and the panthers and the trial and all that before Pacs even born or you miss so much important context, Mutulu, Legs, his biological dad etc, his pre story is rich enough to be a full season.

Another documentary about him and Biggies murders drops tomorrow, Nick Broomfield the same guy who did “Tupac and Biggie” the British guy made it.

Personally I’m just thankful that there’s still a few ppl behind the scenes sourcing and selling the original music, would I like to hear all the OG versions properly mixed and mastered? Of course, but it’s better than not being able to hear it at all.

Yep, fukk that bullshyt as movie and the clowns that slandered Pac for promo of it. A limited series is the best way of telling Pac's actual story. From there you could credit him for whatever scripts and hire someone to punch them up/add to them and put stuff out under the 2pac/amaru BRAND. You can take that in a million different directions but that right there is OBVIOUS before you even get creative with what can be done.

There’s a 5-part docu-series directed by Allan Hughes that’s coming out next year. I think COVID slowed down the production but it’s coming out. I believe a soundtrack is supposed to release alongside the docu-series as well.

Allen Hughes COVID lockdownFX Documentary Series Tupac & Afeni Shakur – Deadline

generally speaking tho, Pac’s estate hasn’t done a great job, his legacy is largely being upheld by his fans & interviews being done by guys like Art of Dialogue. What’s crazy is that’s there’s STILL unheard material in the vault :leon:

There’s still a ton of unheard in the vault, there’s whole albums that Pac wrote for other groups or artists that he laid reference tracks for that have never seen the light of day.

Yeah, I agree with that.

I didn't really care for vol 1 and while vol 2 does have some weak joints the tracks where they did more of an "og vibe" for the beats sounded pretty dope to me.

for sure, the fact that new tracks are still popping up to this day is a testament to his work ethic & dedication to his craft

This would be dope, it would be interesting if they rereleased the album with its original tracklisting. Maybe even alternate mixdowns to some songs too. They did that for Nirvana for the 20th anniversary reissue of In Utero, and it gives some songs a completely different vibe.
