Pac been working since he passed away.....It's not a bad thing that nothing major has happened esp in this pandemic. Let him rest in peach for a few years before putting him back to work

What posthumous Pac albums had the original beats besides Makaveli? I think you’re misinformed. And I’ll take R U Still Down over Born Again any day of the week.
My bad
..its meant to say "like using the original beats"

The makaveli bootleg tapes saved his posthumous discograpy though

You legit lied about being a blood online. :mjlol:imagine still posting after that embarrassment.
Kid didn't even come back and post under another name...the audacity:pachaha:

But it's crazy the last Pac album was 2006. And the last good one was 2001
I think the problem is the formula of Pac lyrics with new beats and features has proven to be disastrous, yet releasing an album of as is stuff will be a money loser. Album sales are way down from the 96-06 era, and all the different producers of the OG tracks and the artists who music got sampled would probably charge crazy money to have their work on an official Pac release. I doubt Daz or Johnny J's estate is giving any clearance without breaking the bank. A producer who ain't getting work in 2021 but got Pac tracks from 1994-96 gonna be:feedme:

Most rap music from like 1994 and after doesn't need to be remastered but 2pacalypse sure could use a tune up. Look how much better rebel of the under ground sounds on the resurrection soundtrack than on 2pacalypse now for example

was loyal to the game after or before pac's life?

both of them shyts killed any hype for future albums...them shyts were straight ass

Think Pacs life was the last one. IMO it was all downhill from Better Dayz. That album had some classics but it was shyt like having Pac say Trick Daddy name on that song that was corny. Then Em came and truly butchered anything in sight :shaq2:

I believe there will be another run tho, there’s enough material and public interest to make some more money from his work. We just gotta hope the right people are in charge of doing it

All kinds of shyt you could do besides putting out music. Pac got screenplays you could adapt, there's more movies you could make, cartoons but you gotta think laterally. The cacs running the estate don't care about Pac's legacy. They care that people still care, like Elvis or some shyt.

I know he wrote a movie called Live 2 Tell, always wondered why it never got made.

Oh ok gotcha, look I feel you, I prefer the og beats as well but between sample issues, various issues with producers it just isn’t really feasible. Take the unreleased death row era tracks for example, Johnny J produced probably around 85% of those and his wife who has final say with his material has stated several times it’s not gonna happen, there’s other producers who have since passed away as well so the logistics involved just wouldn’t really make it an easy thing to do.

Before. I was disappointed with Better Dayz and UTEOT but those last 2 made me grow to appreciate them more. Nu Mixx Klassics volume 2 was pretty decent though.

Word, I feel the same way about Dilla's estate. On one hand it's great that his family got it back. But on the other, they're doing the worst job ever! :snoop:

Yeah, adapting his screenplays would be cool but from my understanding there was still a significant amount of script development that was needed, still, that’s something I would also like to see.

As for another biopic I just don’t think you can cram his life into a 2 hour movie, I’ve always maintained the only way to do it properly is a series, you damn near need a whole season just to cover Afeni and the panthers and the trial and all that before Pacs even born or you miss so much important context, Mutulu, Legs, his biological dad etc, his pre story is rich enough to be a full season.

Another documentary about him and Biggies murders drops tomorrow, Nick Broomfield the same guy who did “Tupac and Biggie” the British guy made it.

Personally I’m just thankful that there’s still a few ppl behind the scenes sourcing and selling the original music, would I like to hear all the OG versions properly mixed and mastered? Of course, but it’s better than not being able to hear it at all.
