Durant has the advantage of being 5 inches taller. And is a freak. 6'11, dribble like a guard. shoot from anywhere.
But he's not a better scorer than Kobe. Durant's not even a better pure scorer than Melo.
Kobe is a complete package as a scorer. Shoot from anywhere, is a better finisher at the rim then Durant. Better footwork, more aggressive, and has a post game.
Durant has shot better from the 3 than Kobe has ever shot and finished better at the rim, last year, than Kobe ever has.

Durant scores just as many points, on higher effeciency. It's that simple.
Lamarcus Aldridge might be a more complete package sxorer than Shaq but who is a better scoter? Effectiveness matters more than versatility. Durant gets the shots he's elite at better than Kobe does.
And? He's still better at putting the ball in the hoop than Nick Young.

The Fukk? The guy who gets the most amount of points on the least amount of shots is typically the better scorer.
Durant scores more or similar, more efficiently. How is he not a better scorer?
Is Brooke Lopez a better scorer than Shaq? He's more versatile and has more range.
Durant can score as much as Kobe, in less shots. It's that simple. The better scorer isn't the guy who can make the most difficult shots, it's who can get the ball in the hoop at the most effecient rate, relative to the volume they shoot it.

Doesnt matter about efficiency in this case, were talking about who is the best pure scorer and that's Kobe, there's no weakness u can try to exploit one on one, he can hit the 3, mid range, turn around, free throws, post up, and can take contact better than durant and finish, he is more solid and has a quick first step. Virtually unguardable. Prime Kobe can't be guarded one on one.
Prime Durant has 6'3 dudes checking him at times. Little guys that get up in him.
Add to the fact that Durant at times, literally FLAILS his arms and gets calls
and there is no debate that hes better than Kobe or Melo for that matter 1 on 1.
You take away Durant's phantom calls and he's a 45 percent shooter just like Kobe

Kobe gets fouled legitimately, like Melo. Durant doesn't.
I fukk with Durant and @2Quik4UHoes thought I was a Kobe hater at one point because I was coming at Kobe's head.
With that being said, Prime Kobe is a better scorer than Durant. A couple of tiers above actually.

Efficiency has nothing to do with someone being the best scorer. Efficiency is only revealing of shot selection, you're a damn lie if you think Durant is a better scorer than Kobe. Durant is s better shooter, that's it. Kobe is a far better shot creator, slasher, post player, etc. Just because Durant is more efficient doesn't mean he is a better scorer, it simply means he takes fewer bad shots.

Durant is the more efficient scorer and Kobe is the more explosive scorer. I go with Durant cause he has more scoring titles and he's more selective with his shots. I'm sure if he shot the ball 35 to 40 times in a game he would put up some kind of outrageous scoring number too.
