I won’t rank them.

But here is a list of guys who I felt were special.

Joe Montana
Dan Marino
Michael Vick
Peyton Manning
Patrick Mahomes

Those guys were all seemingly on a different level in the NFL.

Someone like Drew Brees or Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers or others might have had as good or better careers than those guys. They may have better resumes than those guys. But there is nothing particularly special about their athleticism or play that stands out to me. So I don’t consider them as especially noteworthy.

That’s my view.

I’m leaving out quarterbacks before 1980 because that was probably a very different game. Though there is a great argument that I am wrong for leaving out Fran Tarkenton.

say you don't know football without saying you don't know football breh

by your own criteria Rodgers should easily make your top 5 if it ain't about in wining and being a dynasty qb but being a special talent

saying their nothing special about Aaron Rodgers:francis:

and the most efficient qb All-Time career Passer Rating and touchdown to interception ratio leader :mjlol:

arguably the number one arm talent qb ever:russ:

-lightning quick release✔️

elite arm strength/throwing power✔️

anticipation/ timing routes✔️

fade route's /back shoulder throw's✔️

great deep ball accuracy ✔️

all time throwing on the run/ out of the pocket✔️

the best qb at making tight widow/Thread The Needle type throws only Dan Marino can compete✔️

quicker release then Marino

rodgers showing off that "mahomes arm strength" 75 yards in the air on a dime rolling to his left:ohlawd:

Rodgers has made a lot of shytty teams better and made receivers household names himself too this hate for Rodgers has to stop
Unlike Brady, Rodgers was expected to have a Brady like career so the world feels underwhelmed with the results. He had all the notoriety build up and hype leaving school. 1 champion after all that build up. That condescending personality on and off the field. The farve like "I may or may not retire every year. All of that effects people. He's definitely a generational talent.

Tom got robbed of MVP last year but Mahomes will easily surpass Brady’s regular season MVP count within the next few years honestly

Wait until the Chiefs fukk around and draft one of those 1st round WR freaks coming out of college for Mahomes to throw to
I hope they sure up the defense.

I get that but Rodgers wasn't drafted high either and it hard to win a Superbowl let alone multiple Rodgers gets talked about like he's Marino shyt he started to get talked about like he's romo or rivers

Ehh to be fair, so was Manning but he will be in most everyone's top 5 cuz he got carried to a 2nd ring. But pure talent wise, Rodgers does belong.

If you're top 5, you can't just win one SB

Had the #1 seed and shat the bed in

2011 vs. NYG
2020 vs. TB
2021 vs. SF

And let's not forget how bad he was in 2014 @ SEA.

All the other losses, I can give him slack. But he has been terrible in the NFC Championship. TERRIBLE! The Bucs one was his best performance.

in comparison to Brady who's a sixth round pick he still went high. The 49's definitely missed by selecting Alex Smith, but so did other teams. Aaron Dropped but he was still a first round pick.
