Whose career is honestly the most disappointing- CP3, D12 OR Melo?

Can't really fault CP3

For a 3 years stretch the Clips were legit but had to go through OKC, Memphis and the Spurs every year?

Dwight being in this discussion is a bit disrespectful. Dudes been to the finals, multiple all stars, multiple all nba and defensive teams, multiple DPOY's, multiple rebounding champ, multiple blocking champ.

Clearly the answer is CP0, he has played with better players than melo ever has and has yet to even make a conference finals. If paul wasn't always being labeled a top 5pg of all time, I would of said Melo is the biggest disappointment of the 3, but a top 5pg of all time should sniff a finals atleast once with 2 other top 25 players in the nba (according to espn).

Melo, his fault or not, has noy played with a superstar his entire tenure with the knicks, forget superstar but I think his entire tenure with the Knicks, he's only had 1 allstar player and tyson chandler only made it because the center position was weak

Edit- And honestly if it wasn't for jr smith getting suspended, that team should of gone to the ECF that year

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
Definitely Melo.

D12 has 3 DPOYs and went to the Finals and had real playoff success in Orlando despite not having any superstar type of talent. He's become underrated honestly.

CP3 was arguably the best PG in the NBA for years, and while he hasn't had playoff success, he's even better analytically than his reputation would make him out to be. He's had some great regular season teams carrying them to a ton of wins in New Orleans. Yeah he didn't make the Conference Finals, but he took the Spurs to 7 games in the Semis of 08 with David West as the 2nd best player on the team as a 22 year old. That's pretty damn impressive.

I love watching Melo more than almost anyone, but :yeshrug:

:aicmon:HE WAS NEVER THE SAME AFTER THE BACK SURGERY...

DID HE LOOK LIKE D12 WHEN HE GOT TO THE LAKERS?

HE WAS NEVER EVEN THE SAME DEFENSIVELY.

Was he ever not a product of a watered down era at his position?

Was he not overhyped because of the system ?

Defensively I'll give you ... breh was never above average offensively.

CP3
Melo
D12

In that order....

CP3 damn near won MVP the year Kobe won it....choked that year to the Spurs....choked countless other times..notably the 3-1 lead to the Rockets. Earlier in his career was pre-determined he would go down top 5 PG....Peyton Manning-esque pre-ranked career status. nikka often times in playoff series didn't step up scoring wise which would have put his team further. Should have at-least made the WCF once with those Clippers.

Melo had a team go to the WCF with Chauncey....spent his first half in the West which was hard as fukk. He should have been able to do more with the Knicks in the weak East. Granted we all honestly know he's a one-dimensional player and would never top Lebron. He would have won it all with an elite PG to reign his chucking ass in...i.e. Kidd and Billups.

D12 led Orlando to the Finals and was let down by coaching (PG situation in Finals was meh). He also won DPOY...if anything he over-achieved. Should have learned more post moves, but he was pretty much a buff Tyson Chandler with a struggle hook shot.

Chris shoulda made the WCF in 2014 and 2015 :snoop:

He's still the best outta all three of them :yeshrug:
And when he's ranked amongst his position he'll be ranked higher than Melo and Dwight are at theirs

Can't believe Paul is getting so many more mentions than Melo. It should be Melo by a landslide. :snoop:
I agreed. Melo was the truth in Denver. He should have stay with the Nuggets and wait to see how the team was going to retool in the 2011 off-season. Leaving the Nuggets to go to NY, was the worst career decision he has ever made, and then he decided to be committed to the Knicks when he had a chance to leave. :picard:
