Did you just say 2 hours before closing

Sorry but foh
I know it's a bytch, and I wouldn't do that because I know the guys in the back wanna go home after a stressful day. Especially on a weekend.

I don't miss those days :francis:

Man, fukk all these unwritten rules y’all just making up as you please. If you say you’re open until 7, then you’re open until 7. If you want to stop service early, put it on a sign. Can’t have individual employees arbitrarily deciding when to stop service on their whim. :childplease:

(Didn't watch the video) but off the principle, I'm with the customer. Look bro, it's written you're open.

Now if she arrived even 1 min late, then don't take her in, idgaf. But she made it in time, so do your thing.

I don’t wanna get too deep on this but…a site full of dudes and nobody callin out the stereotypical angry combative black woman energy

2 men wouldn’t have this conflict. The post office dude’s tone wasnt even crazy it seemed he was more joking. A simple ‘lol you right bruh’ —-as he finished shipping my shyt—-would have sufficed. I’ve literally been in this situation. Naturally, we supposed to be the more laid back ones. But social media got nggas picking up feminine ways.

Dudes on here talking bout ‘she right’. Scust
Sorry breh, but no.

The ones being “feminine” are the people making excuses for grown adults acting as if they’re being inconvenienced because they’re expected to do their government subsidized job.

If it’s 6:45 and the spot closes at 7:00, yes it may be annoying but suck it up and do your fukking job.

Making little slick comments because you don’t want to have to do your job is actual feminine energy. :camby:

Thank you. She’s literally not asking for anything extra. Shes a paying customer who works hard for her money just like his sassy ass . She’s just trying to complete her transaction during their set, posted hours. The most manly thing he could have done was smile, curse her out in head like a normal person and talk shyt about her after she left with his coworkers. I think they’re agreeing with him because a lot of these cats don’t believe black women are complete human beings that get angry just like everyone else and don’t have the right to defended themselves when they are wronged :mjpls:

I worked appliance/merchandise pick up for a big box store while I was in school and we constantly had people coming in with 5 minutes left to pick up stoves, fridges, riding lawnmowers etc;

you gotta be professional when dealing with customers but i use to lock the doors and lower lights at 10 minutes to closing to make sure I could get out when possible :manny:

I don’t have a problem going in at the last minute as long as you’re getting out of there fast. I go into stores last minute all the time but I’m out before closing time.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I hate that "right before you close" bullshyt

Are you fukking open at the times on the sign or nah? If not, change the fukking sign. Should be false advertising to say something is open from 1-2 and then be closed at 1:55...

"b-b-b-b-b-b-but we need time to close the store" Ok did you know that when you made the hours? You did? Then why bullshyt me with the imaginary prep time that you don't tell anyone about?

And this right here is the real issue... I worked retail so no blame.... It's the employees wanting to go home. Nobody in corporate is authorizing this behavior. It's the workers saying "man I got to get out of here," putting their wants and desires above the company and the customer.

Which would be fine. If you weren't being paid to do the exact opposite

Yeah, this isn't Japan, fam. They'd gladly stay later to help out customers. Americans are underpaid, and you can't seriously expect someone to be happy that someone showed up JUST before closing time.

Closing time isn't necessarily when people get off. They might need to do extra work in the back, and people like her are cutting into his time.

she was in before closing.... she was just in time like i said :yeshrug:
and there is plenty of business state side that would do so. i be going into sam's club 5-10 min before closing, there is literally still someone at the door checking membership cards and letting you know they close in 10 mins
