I don't see the issue

For every woman hater here, there’s one or two male feminists to balance it out
This nikka cutting my hair and every minute he has to stop to :
check his phone for a message
make a quick phone call
change the tv channel
change the music playing on the radio
holla at some chick walking outside
See someone he knows walking outside and meet him a for a minute talk
Talk to his fellow barbers
All this shyt happening in the middle of a fukking haircut and he has the nerve to expect a tip.
What’s wrong with being a professional and actually concentrating 100% on your client and making sure you give him the best haircut possible?![]()
So that "Barbershop" episode of "Atlanta", that aired earlier this year, is realistic?:

why are you asking this...you should know already

Just described my current barber. He's been cutting my hair for a year because my longtime barber moved to Atlanta so had to find a new barber. Dude is notorious for taking phone calls, ordering food from the food truck that comes by or the sister that be bringing barbecue plates, etc. Dude is too cold though and I've tried other shops but nobody can cut like him so far so I keep going back though. He's funny as hell too. I just come to accept it.Usually the ones who doing all that shyt are the ones who cold with the clippers...so they cocky in they ability and don't fear fukking up your shyt. 9 times out of 10 they wont, but you'll be in that mufukka for a min.
My lil bro old barber took 30 mins per cut, had to switch up barbers cause that was ridiculous.

Right, a lot of the shyt being called misogynist these days on social media were fairly common talking points back in the day. Keeping your woman in check, how to bag multiple hoes, unpopular political opinions....all type of shyt like that was unfiltered talk.I think internet forums/social media provide some of the "talking shyt / socializing / peer bonding" that used to be one of the draws of barber shop culture. Only now, people are exposed to views of people outside of their local area.

In the movie Barbershop, this was examined with how everyone in real life got up in arms when Cedric's character said fukk Jesse Jackson, people lost their shyt with that line. Nowadays fukk Obama is not uncommon at all too see on black twitter and facebook.
