My barber is Dominican and in proximity to my spot. No issues, set up an appointment, chop it up a bit, in & out. Only $25 bucks for a fade + shape up.

Just lost my barber of about a decade - he was professional but he used to move slow.

He was on dialysis for years, used to get tired, and sit 15 min between the cut.

But he was cold.

He supported his community and was a truly great father and barber.

I was paying $40+ dollars since I moved up to the Chi - was going to a shop off Kedzie. Dude did excellent work, but he was inconsistent and would have me in pain trimming my beard under my chin.

Found a barber close to my house off Booksy, and dude gets me in and out fast for $25. He does good work, too...although I swear this nikka has a near constant look on his face

There’s still a shop in my hometown where you’ll be in there for 2 hours minimum. Brehs arguing about AI and Mike Vickgoing to pick up they kids. Hollering at women in the salon next door etc

They don't be wasting time cause they need to finish your cut before the next appointment

That’ why I go in the morning during the weekday when I know other nikkas won’t be around

I've started doing that shyt too. My last haircut I asked for the earliest time available a week in advance and it was just me and him and that was the best haircut I got from my barber. I don't want to sit in a chair getting my haircut and there is constant stopping and distractions cause my shyt ain't as sharp.
