I think if patrons were informed they would. It’s not enough to just put the calories per meal. The menus should have cals from fat and sodium levels on them.
I personally don't think they would
for example, if i eat out I put the stats on myfittnesspal to see how it affects my numbers for the day
look at how we know the dangers of alcohol but keep drinking it

There is a psychological strategy to keep folks consuming alcohol. You see it in all the tv shows, music, and movies. Essentially, the alcohol industry is tricking people to consume their products.
