I know it's easy to say "it's because they're white!!" - not so fast. Popular white artists get dropped all the time, especially when they cost the labels money and they don't recoup...what's so special about these two? why are they being protected like they are?

They have a large and strong core of fans. Even if they don't make the money, the potential is always there because the band is so well known and followed.
