Ime, they have the same complexion range as we do. From what i gather, for varying socio economic reasons, the very lightest and the very darkest tend to remain on the island. We end up with a population skewed toward the middle, fba 'ls' - fba 'brown skin'. Then, theres the steady lightening program, so depending on when or where you view the process, youll see different phases.

I grew up around “creole” people who if they lived in NY would probably be mistaken for Puerto Rican or Dominican or out here in San Diego or LA, Mexican. Even though I could consider myself “creole” because those same people I’m talking about were family members in some cases, I didn’t.
