yea, why would they need an enemy of Christianity when Christians werent even that big in the middle east, it was the idol worshippers, and jews in a far second when it came to power. So your whole "created to combat Christianity" argument is nothing but foolishness bruh :manny:
He's right that Islam was intrinsically political though. You could argue that it was created to conquer

People can always read the Koran and see what Mohammed said for themselves and what Allah commands for themselves.

In Islam Allah decides what is final not an imam, any of the Hadiths or another Muslim.

Check out the Koran for itself and make your own decision.

P.S. All roads lead to Rome.

I am a muslim, so I dont think it was created to conquer, its destiny that Muslims would/will rule, thats my faith. But for sake of debate, if you want to think that Islam was created for any other reason besides a religious reason, it makes more sense to say it was created to Unify the (warring) tribes of the Arabian Pen. which it did.

First off i'm going to say that I believe all religion is nonsense but to answer your question, people fear what they do not understand, plain and simple. Also the fact the extremists are killing entire villages for not believing the same shyt they do and they've sort of become "the face" of the religion.

What's the purpose in political unity, other then to conquer?

if you knew the truth about your religion, you would abandon it immediately, especially if you are black

the role Christianity played in the development of Muhammad can be seen in

Volume 4, Book 55, Number 605:
Narrated 'Aisha:

The Prophet returned to Khadija while his heart was beating rapidly. She took him to Waraqa bin Naufal who was a Christian convert and used to read the Gospels in Arabic Waraqa asked (the Prophet), "What do you see?" When he told him, Waraqa said, "That is the same angel whom Allah sent to the Prophet) Moses. Should I live till you receive the Divine Message, I will support you strongly."

Muhammad was taught by waraqa bin naufal aka Bahira aka a catholic monk thats what inspired him to dictate the writing of the quran

before Muhammad the sons of Ishmael were pagans. There were also christian Arabs and Jews before the invention of the quran

Everyone in the Arabian peninsula were basically pagans or Zoroastrians, mayne. And its know (or at least believed) that Muhammad was illiterate which is why it was dictated. The Kaaba itself predates Islam (and some say Christianity and maybe even Judaism), these are all things that most Muslims know. Muhammad functioned as a reformer and prophet, his changes were just as much municipal and social as they were religious.

how do people become muslims?
you take the Shahada which is a declaration you make with at least two muslims as witnesses i think that just says There is not god but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet.....after that in the eyes of Muslims...you are a Muslim.

everyone knows that there were christian and jew and pagan arabs before islam. :rudy:

and not that I'm agreeing or disagreeing with your post but Blackking on sohh years ago explained:

that nikka Bahira was a Christian priest. Not the type of Christian that we have today... - so he was considered an enemy to most Christians. But Islam wasn't created to go against Christianity....... As Christianity had many view and types and many thoughts.
Who is to say whats right or wrong????? when .... Bahira practiced like most Christians who KNEW jesus practiced and the majority of Christian have zero clue.
Anyway he was Muhammads 3rd cousin.... and related to Muhammads 1st wife.

He remained a Christian after the revelation of the Quran because he didn't need to change. The Quran was for the polytheist and pagans. It was for the Jews and Christans who weren't doing shyt right. It was for the people who put Money before faith and for the people who wanted to Kill Jesus when Jesus ( not his real name of course ) was alive............... So Bahira was never At odds with Islam. And he was the first monot who believed in the prophet.

Plus Bahira called God Allah, ate like jews and Muslims and culturally was already were Muslims were supposed to be at after conversion.

Muhammad wasn't taught by Bahira -- First off........... lol, Bahira didn't have knowledge that wasn't already available for all monotheist at the time. He didn't have any special revelation. But he didn't give Muhammad more confidence because as Quranic (and Non-Quranic ) sources state ------ Kadijah brought Muhammad to the guy and the guy was surprised at what he knew and became a supporter. Maybe he did drop some knowledge about the scriptures and about jewish teachings, etc............ That's a good thing because Islam is supportive of all of those words and it's best for a Muslim to be very knowledgeable on those subjects .............

btw- i not saying Nestorianism is correct.....

And I will do everything in my power to make sure this never happens.

You all FUNDAMENTALLY can't live with others without lying to everyone in your community.
