i agree, im just wondering why people are getting mad at me for saying that the mistakes included lack of literacy, allowing the europeans to get ahead technologically and not developing financial systems

admitting mistakes is the first step toward developing solutions, we as black people need to address the low literacy rates of black people all over the world, we need to address technology and we need to develop financial systems

everything im doing and saying is to put black people on top, i dont need to make up fantasies about long lost empire to do that, i just need to look at the facts and see how africans fuked up and then try to to correct it

Europeans used the knowledge they gained to build their shyt up and then they came and fukked shyt up and it was over hundreds of years. How is this not obvious? Africans weren't perfect. Its like for example Egypt was far more advanced then everywhere on the planet and they fell after being fukked with for so long. Is that not enough to understand.

Don't believe the hype about the literacy rate, the majority of the population is literate and can speak/understand at least two languages.

Overpopulation, constant American intervention and the ramifications/remnants of the shytty French colonial system are directly to blame for Haiti's poverty.



OP compared the situation to Japan, South Korea and Singapore, but what @Leasy posted is part of the answer.

South Korea had Park Chung Hee, Japan had Emperor Meiji and Singapore had Lee Yew. All 3 were dictators that were allowed to do what was necessary to lift their nations out of poverty.

But what happened when other nations produced leaders that tried to better their people?

i completely disagree, i think what you have in common between japan, korea and singapore is high levels of literacy, high levels of education will produce better leaders

having leaders that lacked education, or more importantly not having a pool of educated leaders is the primary reason haiti never fulfilled its potential

and its not hype, haiti is largely illiterate and it has been since its independence

and all 3 countries promoted capitalism and trade heavily

My original post was cacs came and fukked us over. Then nikkas starting basically saying Africans were backwards and never had shyt. Not even Africans just subsaharan. Then we listed a bunch of advanced empires. Then a bunch of semantics and confusion later our point still stands and the goal posts left the stadium and are around the block.

How is that a contradiction. Do you know the definition? Europeans were behind. Got taught. Used their new found knowledge to attack other countries not limited to African ones. Over hundreds of years they finally conquered Africa. Egypt wasn't behind it was way out in front but that didn't stop people from conquering the same people who taught them in the first place. So tell me where the contradiction is?
