Juveniles were not committing violent crimes like this and at this rate BITD. This site loves denial. How often did we see these flash mobs or organized smash and grabs BITD?
bruh it's okay, you guys were just shielded from it, either thru great parenting, a natural desire to not lust fir criminal experience, or both...
This link you posted says two teenagers went and robbed two different valet attendants. This is not abnormal in the context of criminalized teenagers...

This shopping center used to have a restaurant back in 2005-06, that's no longer there. Some examples I gave upthread, of two 16-year olds who robbed a pizza delivery driver and then shot and paralyzed him; and a 14 and 15 year old robbing duo; I listed these a few pages ago...
All four of these guys went in and robbed this restaurant many years ago, if I recall correctly they hit it right before closing and stuck up all the employees in there...
All four guys ages, at the time, were 14, 15, 16, and 16...
I knew all of these guys personally as we were all loosely affiliated with the same group of people. I never did any robberies with them, I was more inclined to drug dealing but we were all affiliated. Incidentally I was the first one who ended up going to prison but all of us except one, to my knowledge, ended up in prison:
•the 14-year old is scheduled to get outta prison on July 15, he been gone since killing a dude in June 2009 (while I was still in prison), at which time he would have been 17 going on 18. He's been locked up the last 14 years on that body, he almost 32 now;
•The 15 year old is the one who to my knowledge never went to prison. I do remember him having some minor cases he caught, went to jail a time or two but nothing ever stuck enough to him to float him up the river. Last I heard about him a few years ago he kinda like a hood legend/OG, he's 33 now;
•one of the 16-year olds on that delivery driver case never got out, he's almost 34 now, scheduled to get out next April which would be 18 years for him (been locked up since June 2006);
•The other 16-year old got out in 2018 after doing 12 years, and got back locked up again for dealing heroin in 2020, 33 years old now and scheduled to get off this next bid July 2024...
If anyone understands the issue of juvenile crime it's me because I know how it can derail your life long term. Most of us who are out there young either never leave the lifestyle behind or it takes us forever to do so. @get these nets will attest that I'm not a fan of this, "just look these young demons up" mentality, I know what happens when The System throws away the key on you...
That said, to your quoted post and the premise of the thread, teens robbing valet attendants may feel new to you. I can assure you that it isn't, and again, especially given the fact we already know that at least one state wasn't recording juvenile crime prior to just 3½ years ago, yall gotta understand that from where I sit, I don't have any reason to believe that juvenile crime is demonstrably worse today than it was in previous eras...
I understand that for those of you that aren't used to hearing stuff like this, it sounds new and like this era of kids is worse off...
Bruh if we had social media the way it is today it would have captured much of what I described, + more shyt that was happening around town that I wasn't around..." bruh it's okay, you guys were just shielded from it, either thru great parenting, "
Not the case at all. I think it is different and more prevalent now. Social media is turbo fuel to this behavior.
The "it happened back in the day but yall didn't notice it" is not gonna fly.
The amount of teens doing armed carjackings, robberies and shooting each other at parties it is happening more frequently today, and not just in big cities. Mass shootings in places like Dadeville Alabama?
