For most people this is not the case. They’re fukking lazy… You don’t live on overtime, sometimes you just have to grind it out for six months to a year and that can set you up proper for years to come.
I can’t lie I feel him on the weekends partMy lil bro was 19 and had a job at the Amazon warehouse. He was working 3 12s Sat-Mon night making $18 plus night pay with the option for OT if he wanted it. He didn't have any bills no car and my ma paid his phone bill and he was still staying with her. Breh quit after 2 months cause he didn't like that it took his weekend from him and he didn't wanna pay his partner that worked with him gas money to get to work....then had the nerve to ask me for money for some shoes after he quit... Man if I was making $20 at that age![]()
A lot of folks are lazy and have a million reasons to be lazy. I tried to turn my boy on to this job awhile back. But all we had was part time open. So he would have to work his regular job, and work 3 days a week on the part time job.
I done this for 2 years , to get my foot in the door. And it was welll worth it. And I told him too. His excuse was… man when I get off I just wanna smoke and chill.Full time comes with benefits, over time and holiday pay. They start us off at 22 a hour. Shiet !!!! I’m up to 25 a hour and I don’t do shyt but smoke and playNintendo switch in my office.
But he isn’t willing to make a small sacrifice to get to a better paying job.
shyt is trash
Having a salary>>>
Working for the government at that>>>>>>.
Them nikkas can get overtime or work their mandatory 8 hours. For some of them, the 8 hours start as soon as the check in, so they could honestly come in earlier to get off earlier.
Breh I'm 36 and very recently was doing 55 hours a week.He just got his CDL license 5 months ago, and he's complaining about how his new job is not paying him enough
He said that his manager keeps getting on him because he's too slow with deliveries, but he's learning. He called me to vent and say he wants another job
I said "yeah you can do that, but does your job offer overtime? That would make your pay much better while you gain experience"
Young Breh: "Me, work overtime? I don't know about that. I don't want to work that much hours"
I'm thinking to myself like, wouldn't that solve all of your problems?. He's still against doing that. Is this a new epidemic with so much young people not wanting to put in the hours to build their career?
Don't be afraid to work overtime young brehs, especially early in your career
