You'd think educators would be right up there amongst the worst numbers, considering how poorly they get treated. They have their happiness despite it all. That's kind of amazing if you think about it.

Educators are not treated bad they get plenty of respect and love and if they do it a long time they are paid good.

Also, oddly enough entertainment gets higher, while architecture gets lower on a male-only list.

I agree. The CDC got the data from the dept of labor and they tried to group every job in america into 22 categories. Its somewhat limiting.

You can kinda tell which jobs are excluded from some categories, while others are implied. More precision would've been nice.



Are you asking because you think certain trades are overweighted/represented within a category?

I mean a situation like plumbers and hvac both being in category 3(male list) but hvac people hating it more than plumbers?

I’m not a fan of stats and shyt like this. Stats can be too general sometimes. Most times people don’t know the methodology that people are using for these things. Like what if a person who committed suicide was a construction worker for 2 years at the time of death, but the 10 years prior, he was an insurance agent. What category would they classify that person in? This why I don’t fukk with these random ass stats and take em with a grain of sea salt

I think it's because most educators are passionate about their jobs, and seeing someone under your tutelage succeed is probably fulfilling as fukk.

Construction and extraction sounds like oil & mining. These fools put all the trades in the same category.

Exactly. That dynamic isn't something third parties can easily mess around with, with any kind of blue-collar-vs-white-collar parrot talk. The validation of doing your job well is much more immediate and long lasting.
