I am very curious. Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you that you can't tell me a story without me asking a billion questions. Plus I am into a whole bunch of things. Honestly if I am not actively trying something new then I am not happy.

I am probably like this because my mom use to challenge me to think about situations and draw my own conclusions.

Many Blk parents tend to be the "just do what I say" type and mostly teach their children to just "do what you are told."

I think it's a result of just trying to satisfy basic needs due to the economc oppression we face.

We as a people excel when we put in work. When we start thinking outside of the box great things happen. They don't want that. If we start being creative in mass the world will change and that is why so much stress is put into our lives.

Uh...Black people are poor and is part of the global poor. That's a fact. You can look up census data and prove that.

Saying Black people aren't curious cause we make fun of White people doing stupid shyt while on their cac adventures is a generalization.

There's a reason why the early scientists and philosophers were from well off families or independently wealthy.

How the fukk you gonna be "curious" as you put it when you can't sustain yourself?

shyt even revolutionaries like Fidel Castro, Lenin and Che were from well-off families...

I don't make broad sweeping generalizations, I try to be close to truth as possible.

I am pretty sure Black people would like to do a lot shyt that isn't practical. But survival comes first.

And the Millions of black people who arent poor? what are they? :dahell:since they don't fit in to your black people are poor generalisaton? don't you see you're condemning my (open) generalisation with more negative generalisations? or are you just trying to be right?

What territories are you referring to? And what black people? Moors?

If you are referring to the Moors, the Moors were a relatively recent group that colonized based on the mandates of their Islamic religion. Not because resources were scarce. Why would I claim that early Africans weren't black? The two cradle theory is something that is actually taught at HBCU's as a way to give explanation to the inherent differences between white and black people so I'm not really getting your response.

I never went to an HBCU, and don't subscribe to that belief system.

Bc black people as a whole, globaly, are poor

And poor people don't have the time nor luxury to take risks or pontificate on abstract ideas. Folks are just trying to survive

You gotta be practical when you struggling

Alot of poor working class whites aren't curious either but I will say they do partake in alot of risky activities (ie hunting mud trucking, sky diving etc)

OP you're making the mistake of looking at a small part of the population and making a generalization about the whole. People in general are not curious, and cacs are no exception. If you don't believe me go to small town USA, look at the conservative ideology these people adhere to. Anything out of their right wing pseudo Christian worldview and they go ape shyt. Blacks are a small portion of the population and as a result you come across far less of the statistical outliers.

That in turn feeds into itself; when very few blacks are in the sciences, for imstance, very few blacks are encouraged to pursue it. As they say, a crowd draws a crowd.

Do you not know what an average or a median is or an empirical fact is?

The Black population is a poor population, there's nothing negative about being poor. That's a failure of human society.

What is a negative is saying some old plantation shyt like Black people aren't curious...like we are inherently intellectually inferior.

And then comparing us to White people like we are the same.
