Why aren't Middle Class/Upper Middle Class blacks taking advantage of "gentrification"? Or Are they?

Gentrification is a plan designed by a conglomerate of wealthy men. Black people don't have the money to fight it. Cac sanctioned violence lowers value of the property. Cacs map out the blocks they will set up for commercial business. Property is bought, renovated and prices are raised that hipsters move into. This area can no longer be lived in by people under a certain pay grade. Buildings are bought and businesses are set up. Value of property goes up everywhere. People sell homes, chunks of abandoned homes are bought from the bank at auctions and more cacs move in. Last remaining residents hold out for the last cash out and it's a wrap. Economic barrier keeps black people from moving back in

The thread is about Middle/Upper Middle Class blacks, not Blacks as a whole. Blacks are paying more to be in the burbs than they would in a gentrified hood after property tax hikes.

What people don't understand is that many of those mortgages in the burbs were fukked anyway. Middle Class white folks are even better than us at faking the funk. There are so many people in this nation in mortgage/credit card debt that its sickening. So you had a buncha black folks trying to go and keep up with the joneses and snatch up property that was shyt to begin with, in areas with hyper-inflated infrastructure (most burbs depend on the big city for water/power ect.).

Black folks are also stuck on this notion that black business has to serve some black clientele or have only black goods...and thats where it fails. What makes so many small white businesses grow is the lack of attachment to some underclass or subculture. It might sound like c00n shyt, but when it comes to making money, let the culture and social awareness come later....have good products, get your business in the black first.

yea I already touched on this.

there is no true black middle class. the average black middle class is 2-3 checks away from being right back in the hood

none of this matters regarding my topic. As I mentioned, you have cities like ATL giving up to 50k down on homes, so you aren't even putting money down or have to "save". Just need above a 620 Credit score.

it takes money to "gentrify" a hood. just buying property for cheap isn't gentrification. when it comes to remodeling and building businesses in the area, who has the wealth?

also, link me to some cheap housing in ATL because i've been thinking about picking up rental property over there

It takes money to build anywhere. As I stated, blacks moving to the burbs and aren't accomplishing anything either. Just look up neighborhoods in Zone 1, Zone 4, and Zone 3 on any real estate site. You should be able to wiki the zones to see specific neighborhoods.

you have blacks moving to Cobb County or any burb paying 1.5-2k for a mortgage, and can get a home a gentrifying neighborhood for under 1k.
I don't know. I think black people want to be In diverse neighborhoods aka largely white neighborhoods with a large group of tokens from different races sprinkled in.

I asked my own blood why not move to stone mountain they have a large black suburban class.

Response. Not diverse enough.

That hurt my chess :mjcry:

This is the problem.

It seems black people in this country are stigmatized to not want to be around each other. I don't know if it's self hate or what...

It's sad.

Valuing "diversity" over wanting to build with other black people. It seems to be the reason why many black businesses and services fail...

Only blacks do that "diverse" thing. c00n kids will go to UGA over an HBCU, not because it is a world class research university but because they want "diversity", get to the school and see these whites want no part of them, and they literally form their own school within the school with all blacks hanging together. Go to any white school and you will see blacks are forced to create their on sub social scene because the whites want nothing to do with them unless they are athletes. And Stone Mountain/Lithonia could have been the truth, but blacks didnt build anything besides wing spots, soul food spots and car washes. Those areas got hit hardest by the mortgage fraud and stuff + people pushed out the old hoods were pushed there so you have a ton of section 8 renters living in neighborhoods not taking care of the properties/janky landlords.

Off one aspect alone if your rental properties are bought up and the price is raised beyond the ability for the tenants to pay what happens. Duh.

If most people in a certain area are renters under these conditions what's going to happen?

We just get shuffled around like dominoes

To real. Another reason why it's so easy. Not enough of us have trades and interests big enough to service a small city. No customer service in business not to mention we are cheap with one another. Sad shyt
