The Sanskirt word Krishna literally means black. Krishna is depicted as both black and blue. I haven't heard the "dark like a rain cloud" saying before.

It can mean black or it can mean dark. An that's a sculpture made from marble. If you look at any selection of him on paper he's blue. He's of the sky, skin like clouds and a voice of thunder.

@observe already answered that :what:

The Europeans already let us know what time it was when it came to Ancient Egyptian religion and knowledge :sas2:

Also Sumerian culture was damn near identical to Egyptian culture and that was in Turkey so what makes you think people who traveled further didn't attempt to keep the same knowledge? :dead:

And I already rebutted his response. The ancient Egyptians beliefs as described in the Book of the dead are not the same as Buddhism. Yes they share ideas about the transmigration of the soul but The Egyptians had no concept of the soul returning back to Earth or returning as other life forms. I'll watch those videos when I get some time. Your other points still aren't proof of anything. Why can't you give me an academic source behind your claims?

Either way Krishna was still darkskinned. Dark skin is not believed to be a curse. What does the sculpture being marble have to do with anything?

Here's a black depiction of him on paper

Egyptian culture was much older...of course the idea was remixed and expanded on :dead:

Still no academic source for your claims and because they had one similarity it means both religions are entirely similar now?

I only wanna learn about the african religions all the others sprang from. I googled about Jesus being written after Heru from Egypt but I still don't know much.. more questions than answers at this point.

Go through life being raised in the church where they hustling for tithes and offering money. I just attended to try to get my life right with God not all that other entertainment and emotional stuff.
You haven't even confirmed that the abrahamic god exists, yet you think you have enough legitimacy to reject other religions :mjlol:

Yep. The Dharmic religions (Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism) aren't based on any strict rules or laws. There aren't rules that say you have to pray x amount of times, dress a certain way or etc. The only thing that might be really be a problem is the vegetarian diet, but only Jains strongly adhere to that. All Hindu's and Buddhists aren't vegetarian.

If you're talking about a lifestyle, thats one thing...but why adopt supernatural claims?

He was blue. Dark skinned but not a humanly color doesn't matter. How are you trying to school me and you don't even know what you're talking about.

"The Supreme Personality of Godhead has a cheerful, lotus-like countenance with ruddy eyes like the interior of a lotus and a swarthy body like the petals of a blue lotus. He bears a conch, discus and mace in three of His hands."
