What's holding you back? Why haven't you tried doing what you should be doing? You a nikka that can juggle real good, why your juggling ass ain't performing at half time shows or on morning news? You funny? Why you ain't making vids, putting in work on try out nights? etc.. What's holding you back from sharing your talent with the world?, money? ambition? etc...

For me I know I can write. Film, Novels, you name it. But when I do research and look at motherfukkers who write film and novels, generally them motherfukkers be supremely talented. now you don't "have" to be as talented as those who do make money. Zhane isn't Dean Koontz. McG isn't Stephen Spielberg etc...but that shyt frustrates the shyt out of me. It's like rapping(back when skill was an actual talent) I use to write write write. and would get legit heated hearing a nikka like Big Pun or Canibus(Showing my age lol) spitting like the shyt was so simple for them.

But I realize this transitioned into other areas of life as well.

Anyways what are you not the best at that could give you a good life. Like I know its some nikkas here that's probably ex athletes that instead of playing Arena league or balling overseas just said fukk it?

lets talk about this. Because I believe things that come natural to you, no matter how high you fit in the heirarchy of such things is probably what you are intended to do.

I want to specialize in IT Security. I still consider myself "jack of all trades" I've been in for for 8 years but by no means entry level.

Breh you acting like you was a prospective first round pick who shattered his knee. or a 40 year old former golden gloves boxer who gave up on his career to raise a kid. nikka you use your brain for a living. you gucci. stop being a bytch. go hard. you obviously know something about computing, you aren't a novice. why is inconceivable for you to land a job in IT security. you plan on dying soon?

basically same for me ... plus procrastination and holding on to old, useless belief system...

Worrying what family and friends will think of my dreams, lifestyle, and goals.

Being clean, but doing other addictive things to deal with anxiety. bu it just hurts my self-esteem afterwards.

Allowing people to enable those behaviors. When I'm broke or on my way into legal trouble, family and friends help me out. I play the victim role and they believe it, but I'm stuck in my personal life and getting no where. i could be doing so much more.

But it's still fukk the world alot of times. Bout to work with a twelve step sponsor and go to therapy soon. I need help.

See I feel you more than any of the previous posters. And I can't lie I won't go to a 12 step program. Matter of fat I've been to one. And I jokingly remarked that with all the problems them motherfukkers had I could see why they drink. The deal is we are a nation of addicts. Some are more powerful than others but you better believe wether its food, drugs, alcohol, shopping, tv, internet, sex, etc...you aren't the only person that needs to get clean. I admire you for doing something i can't. not because I can't but because i don't feel that type of help is helpful to me. But you battle them demons fam. and you get where you wanna be.

...No certs, Not that I don't have the knowledge, again I guess laziness. Coming up onto year 2 on my second IT job and I guess they way both these jobs gobbled me up made me feel secure. Then I hear about these dudes who barely know how to plug shyt in making twice as much as me . I just need to cop some material and study and push forward.
