Most black men are in the state they are in because they have neglected God.

God is releasing judgement and punishing us because of we are thumping our nose at him.

White men are in the state their in because they been model christians now:usure:

Cuz its easy for people to complain about christianity but dont say shyt about islam, judaism etc or the flaws in them - which there OBVIOUSLY are aloooot of too. Dont dare to say shyt about islam and funny how blacks been fooled to think its "righteous" to be a muslim like being a..buddist, jew or christian aint. Them muslims paid alooooot of street cats with influence back in the day to help spread NOI, 5% etc. Terrorism - nobody finds a flaw, they literally live like its the stone age, treat women like bs and basically marry away their kids - yet nobody say shyt, but its "righteous", lmao. So much more stuff.

But christianity is the safe religion to bash. Also, people associate christianity with white people - for some damn reason - so they feel anything "anti-white" is righteous or the good thing, otherwise youre "brainwashed" - lmao.

Generally speaking, islam from about 700ad- 1400ad impacted Africans positively. European-arabs would have you think differently because Black muslims in high numbers are a legitimate threat to the european/white sphere of influence.

Religion still influences and corrupts aspects of known science at the point.
:dwillhuh: No it doesn't.

Science at this point is free to do what it does. Most religious people aren't anti science. People like you create a false war against science, just because you don't like religion. :rudy:

NTM, most disciplines of science were created by the religious men - and some of our greatest scientist believed in a high power and religion.

Religious people are against science INHERENTLY because they claim to adopt things that can't be accepted in the face of empiricism, testing, or hypotheses.

The moment science confirms something that faces your religion, if you're REALLY religious, you'll adopt the religious view. As you should.

I personally believe that a large # of people are christians are subject to the groupthink mentality. Mama & big mama made sure you was in church every weeks and for a lot of people that all they know. I was also raised in a strong christian household but i really started to question that shyt by 13-14.
After doing some of my own personal research i dont see how things in the bible historically, nor do i see "God" out here looking out for people so :camby:I think brothas stop going because its not much that we feel like we have to learn from going each week. While women (most and not just the black ones) gravitate towards something like church because they are looking for direction, where as men are supposed to be the one providing the direction :yeshrug:

Its probably gonna be difficult for me to get married down the line tho. ALL the fine sistas in ATL be on the church tip heavy
This is yet another issue.

I'm seeing it with my friends who are starting to have kids.

It seems they'd rather let their kids go to church and "learn values" instead of being actual involved and robust fukking PARENTS and doing the hard work of instilling those same values and motivations from a non-religious perspective.

People just leave their kids off in that church environment cause they can't be bothered to do the work of raising kids themselves.

So? Its not helping.
Helping what? Helping who!? Again you do not detail on the things you're saying.

I know all about dude. Look at Tesla and Newton. But the fact remains that they were guided by empiricism, not blind faith.
True, but that wasn't my point. The point was they were still apart of a religion. Yet the ill-informed atheist and religious people in America have this idea that people of a religion can not believe in the big bang theory or evolution.

Them NOT being guided by faith AGAIN goes back to physical body(science) vs spiritual body(religion). Those are the idea those people went by and are what the Catholic church today goes by. Don't believe? Ask a Catholic person. And I mean a rational one. I was surprised to know in real life that many Catholics agree to evolution.

as long as you keep presupposing a deity's role in the development of science or other discoveries in the very process that relies on the lack of presuppositions, then you can never reconcile the flaw of including religion.
Refer back to my second quote text.

You don't get to call people "extremists" who take their religion seriously.
I'm talking about the West Boro Baptist Church types. The "you all are going to hell" or the extremist Muslims who give them all a bad name. It seems you atheist focus on them.

The moderates are the problems because they think by not taking their religion seriously that they're helping, and its completely missing the point.
Can you give me more details? What is the problem? And how are moderate religious people apart of it, especially if they are not taking their religious seriously???

Jews inherently don't prosetletyze (sp?) so they don't deal with the problem of having to worry about inclusion or influence.

Which is why I said black people or people in general should be like the Jews when it comes to religion. They don't waste their time trying to convert people, but instead want to build power.

That's called an extrapolation. Like 24 million people in africa have aids even though 24 million aids tests havnt been give.

Gays like kids inherently. It's a fact of life we have to deal with even though it's scary.

Never let a homosexual babysit your seed

Fam. Do you not understand that GAYS are NOT INHERENTLY Pedophiles????

This is like saying black men are INHERENTLY sexually deviant. or that White men are INHERENTLY into beastiality.

These things have NOTHING to do with the other.

Disagree. Strongly. But your right to your opinion & i at least respect the way you came back with it, instead of us doing the back n forth thing. But i strongly disagree about the "positive impact" part, even in history. I am african myself so i feel that isnt accurate at all.

I've been dreaming about starting a "non-church" for over 10 years now. Inspirational guest speakers, community outreach(tutoring and mentoring kids, swimming lessons etc), on-sight psychologist/counselor/dietitian, meditation services, a 5 acre community garden in the back:smugbiden:

If only I can make this happen brehs my life would be worth living:mjcry:
