Who said you need a venture cap. to do any of that? most startup tech companies start with an idea, they work on the idea( usually in their spare time) once it starts gaining interest then they seek funding. This is how tech companies differ from other businesses. Alot of companies are starting just because of the boom of smartphones and the app stores.

VC arent giving out money to ideas. Theres a good video interview with the guy who created instagram and how they didnt have any funding at first, google started in their garage, apple same place. The guy who made minecraft he worked on the game in his spare time( made 100mil last yr ). The tech field is different because all you need is the skills, good idea and give up your spare time.The server this site is probably running on started out as a college project Of course im picking out extreme cases but we done need to be as successful either.

Once im done with my game ,its going on the app stores. That'll be the start of my company. The cost? $99 apple license, maybe $200 in books and my spare time. Even if the product made $2 lol Its a tech company owned by a black man.

No, he shouldn't only profit off black people, but people do better with core support. Of course I believe everyone should make their business profitable.. and we should only hire blacks if it makes sense. When all things r equal, I say hire black. This my seem crazy, but I've always let black people know about positions n shyt at least a few days before I let anyone else know... even if that non-black person is a friend of mine.

My point though... was that when we make this money he should def cycle around our communities they way others do w money, it's the only thing that makes sense. Other people have the opinion that we should fully assimilate.. but you can fully become a part of something that doesn't treat you 100% equal.

I agree. The only thing I will say is... at the higher level.. you have all sorts of qualified people to put on to high positions. You should always at least see if there are qualified black people first. Then they will be motivated to repeat the cycle. If u do want to play it safe, but be problack at the same time... (this my sound fukked up) but hire a black young woman who speaks very proper, especially if they went to a maj. university. in my experience, they are the most dependable if you just Have to take a chance on someone. Plus they are the least likely to get in some shyt that will force u to have to cover for them..

I only say nikka in real life to 'my nikkas' - we speak Completely different when only around each other.. and most of them are already successful... and all of them contribute more back to the community than I do. probably more than you do... you don't even like most of the black community.

the nikkas I'm talking about helping... won't have a change in mentality by telling people to stop using urban language. Regardless, my focus is children- and on a list of 475 things that can make the situation more positive for the youth..... not saying nikka is last on the priority list.

You already know I find you disgusting for your attract on certain segments of our communities. I live around white people right now. Some are trash- White people, mexicans, jews, asians, etc... can also can see the degrading parts of their communities... but blacks do the best job of dividing ourselves and isolating the parts of the community that need the most guidance.

BTH - I've been around many types of people, the people who hop on frivolous issues and points (like you) are the least effective at changing and encouraging the youth.

IMO i think he found out that there you cant just say whatever you want, words matter, culture matters, its not about not saying nikka or cursing, its about culture, uplfiting the culture specifically

culture is not frivolous, vocabulary is not frivolous and how you identify yourself is not frivilous

im not suggesting letting anyone behind, i dont know where you get that from, and i dont know what graduate students are listeining to is relevant to anything

They throw 6 figure bread crumbs at n!ggas to keep us satisfied with a house and benz....and conveniently run out of money for on the job training so we can't advance up the ladder (heard too many stories when i worked for the federal gov about us being denied training at one point or another). No need to hire any ole brotha...lot of us are lined up waiting to see the top in all fields.

You don't have to blindly hire blacks....hiring the best employees will naturally take care of that issue. We just gotta get to the top of hedge fund management to compete with the "good ole boy network" of under-qualified whites in those fields that got put on by their golf buddy.

It's not irreverent. Some of the most successful and educated people in America listen to the music and love the culture u consider a major factor in suppressing success.

I don't remind you of anyone, but you remind me of a few people. More than a few people.

And I don't feel the need to "keep it hood". Most 'hood' nikka would never guess that there isn't too much that they do, that I haven't done x5. I don't even live in the hood, or do hood shyt since I was a kid... I'm just saying I also don't isolate hood nikkas or hood children. Black American culture is diverse and complex.. There are black people in corporate America that would have you (not me) shocked at some of the things they may say outside that environment.

There are things about our culture that we do need to get rid of, I haven't seen you mention any of those...... you only speak from this mentality that reminds me of some black elitist who is disgusted w urban culture - Not realizing that every successful group of people has ignorant parallels to their own culture and also can produce success.

Im problack so of course.. I know successful old heads. They say the same thing as you... "these young folk blah blah" Same muthfackas responsible for misleading the last 3 generations. At the same time I know 30 year old cats that have contributed more to our youth than these muthfauckas that do nothing but 'lecture' and isolate "hood nikkas and children" about cultural differences.

I cringe when I see brothas w pants around their knees.. but I would rather help them get certs than to press them about saying 'watupdoe nikka'. As long as they can learn to speak professional in the workplace it's all good. If they can't they probably are too lost or too old to change. I don't know too many young people of any race than can't adapt if given the right chance.
