It has everything to do what you said because I know 1st hand you have parents who don't value the education of their children. So no matter what is taught in school, some parents will not reinforce it. Thats just the reality. You can only make sure you're doing your part and make sure your house is well aware of their options and what are the consequences of making choices.

Its not complicated.
Why are we going in a circle?

Nothing is a 100%. That’s not even an option. The point is to reduce the amount of misinformation by having someplace outside the home giving basic information.

Like I said. It’s good you talked to your kids about it.Hearing good information twice isn’t a bother. I learned reading, writing, and math at school and at home. But for kids who didn’t… one place is better than none.

Never heard of too much education being bad.

What is considered a honest conversation in regards to this? Looking at data from both sides or the opinion of others?

Yes, you are killing a "fetus" that would have eventually been a baby.

Yes, 20 plus million Black fetuses have been aborted.

Yes, that has curtailed the Black population.

Yes, Black people are aborting at a higher rate.

Having said all of that I still don't think abortion should be banned.

Let's just have an honest conversation.
You don’t know this for a fact. Matter of fact… every state not even factored in the stats

We're going in circles. Im just firm in my position that education starts at home.
If the parents at home don't show interest in whats being taught to their kids at school, then the child will be disinterested in the subject. I never once said multiple sources of information was a bad thing. Maybe you're placing more of a burden on outside sources vs the home.

Having more children isn't a bandaid for a group's issues.

Do you honestly expect the women who would've aborted to suddenly raise their unwanted children to be the, "next Malcolm or Martin"?

Do you think there wouldn't be an uptick in "at-home" abortions where there's way, way more risk? Or way more children being abandoned?
The fact no one ever even attempts to respond to this reveals which side is completely full of shyt

What do you think would have become of all these aborted babies? How do you think a mom who would rather abort a baby is going to raise one for 18 years?

People throwing out these "millions of aborted black lives!" numbers are like Republicans who don't give a fukk after the child is born.

oh I see. Education never ends to me. I’ve first learned of stuff at home and and at school. Teachers recommended me and many people in my family for advanced programs. Stuff my mom didn’t understand( I was the first to use to the internet at school) but she agreed. It worked in tandem. One wasn’t more important than the other.

this is how i know nikkaz is smart-retarded and didnt pay attention in 8th grade biology

a sperm has 23 chromosomes and a human has at least 46

people are too ignorant on the subject both materially and philosophically to even discuss the facts intelligently, let alone honestly :unimpressed:

I'm still confused. So you acknowledge that it is murder but you're ok with it?
What's confusing? It's complicated. At a certain point, I believe it is killing a kid, and is wrong. Before that it is different. It's not black and white, which is why the law should not be black and white. All abortion is not murder just as all homicide is not murder.

From the perspective of someone that lives out of the US, I‘ve noticed that the anti-abortion people are being intellectually dishonest with the arguments they’re using. I’m yet to see anyone present solutions to address why women seek abortions. Instead, all I’ve seen is pseudo-religious hyperbole.

Here in the U.K., sex education starts at 3rd grade. There are youth groups that travel from school to school giving talks about the responsibility of sex and how to protect yourself. Kids are able to get free condoms from local clinics and counselling can be provided too. These measures have statistically worked in reducing the number of teenage pregnancies.

Also, parents receive child benefits from the government (albeit household income dependent), we have free universal healthcare and pretty much every school has a breakfast and after school programme to facilitate parents that need to work longer days to support their families.

These are just examples of preventative/supportive measures that can be used to help prevent abortions. Outlawing abortions entirely is stupid and archaic for a supposed leading country. All this will lead to is women at risk from illegal abortions and more unwanted children.

While I don’t like abortion personally, I wouldn’t ban it nor stop people from pursuing it. I don’t buy into the whole “it’s just a fetus” talk, especially when we’re talking late abortions. I’ve debated this with women and men who told me that there’s no difference getting an abortion at 3 months than it is at 8, all because it’s not born yet. I just disagree with that full stop. Of course I do support abortion for rape/incest etc

I think more responsible sex should be encouraged to reduce the need to even have an abortion, for both women and men. I support better social programs to help out parents who are in bad spots financially and provide mental health assistance where needed.

I think abortion should be dissuaded, not outlawed. With better resources to help these people we’d naturally see abortion rates drop anyway
