Why did people get upset when you throw kicks in fights?

I think this is mostly a hood thing where people really expect you to square up and purely box or you're a bytch ass nikka
I remember kicking was seen almost like a desperation move. if somebody kicked in a fight the whole crowd would probably start laughing at your ass
I remember a dude tried to kick me and slipped and i got a free stomp on his head from that :banderas:

Edit:
I think some people in here talking about doing what you got to to survive are thinking of random encounter fights like if you fight some random bum at the gas station
Even in jail fights there are certain "rules" to fighting. Any fight thats planned against someone you know on some level with either the neighborhood or crews standing there watching going have rules
Like if you try to bite somebody lips off in a fight dudes ain't just going stand there like "he doing what he got to survive :hubie:" . People going think you a bytch, break it up and you might lose points/respect even if you were winning

90% of these nikkas not from no inner city of America. It makes sense now. I forgot the coli ull of suburban and foreign nikkas who have no idea what the fukk really be going on. Try to kick somebody in a fight and you was getting clowned. We don’t respect that karate ass shyt when it’s time to throw hands. These nikkas will be mad but you can’t argue the facts. It’s always been like that. Now, they probably grappling and kicking and all that shyt in the cul de sacs (no homo) these nikkas grew up in. And trust me, ain’t nothing wrong with growing up around Conner and Brad and them, but it’s part of the reason these mothafukkas be out of touch and got this “hood nikka” resentment thing going on. Box like a man

It's a fight I am hitting you with a fukking brick if I can
This. A real street fight is ALWAYS a life or death situation so avoid them at all costs. Running/getting away should always be your first line of defense/self-preservation. If that’s not an option, all means have to be on the table. The goal is to get home safely. In unwanted conflict that leads to necessary combat, only a fool would eliminate options as to how they defend themselves. Imagine a niqqa not making it back home to his woman and kids because out of pride he didn’t want to kick a nikka in his knee/nuts/chest and incapacitate him. Even it’s just to buy enough time to get away.

People only look down on it in a fight when you trained to use em
I don’t think so

I think it’s looked down upon when you’re like some loser who doesn’t know what he’s doing and using shyt he seen on tv and movies.

If someone is really good at them you just don’t try to fight him if you don’t like the style

I would kick if I could I don't have the tech for it. I'm too afraid of a nikka catching my leg and being sweeped :sadcam:

Real hood nikkas don’t look @ it as real. I’ve kicked the wind out of people the fukk u think I’m not gonna use that against you as well as my bony knuckle fist? I headbutt a nikka if necessary. Only thing I don’t respect in a fight is hair pulling
