Why didn't Django haters call 12 years a slave a 'white savior movie'

This thread is news to me because all the people I know called "Django" a white savior movie like all the other slave movies that have been coming out. If a slave movie comes out without a white teacher, mentor, power figure helping the slave and the slave does it entirely by himself with help from fellow mutiny members, then it's not a white savior movie. It reminds me of the trouble the Haiti movie had when people looked at the script and asked, "Where are the white heroes" and the reply was, "There are no white heroes." The film still hasn't been made. Go figure.

A White Savior Film (WSF) is a movie that features a white person coming into the lives of a person or people of color (POCs) who are often low-income, troubled, and/or severely oppressed. Above is an example of a 'white savior' for instance. How would the definition of 'white savior' apply to Schultz if he struck the deal for his own personal gain and not out of some sort of sympathy with Django?

If I had a job I'd help finance a movie about Nat Turner. One about the formation of Haiti would also be really dope. As much as nikkaz in here are shytting on Django I'd pay to see it many times over before I'd see 12 years a Slave
