It was on radio, it was everywhere. The rap charts will even till you this, which are rap radio driven. I vividly remember how Arab Money and Pop Champagne were everywhere, every club and super trash. (Can't speak for outside of the tri-state area)

And it wasn't a real single, it was a mixtape without real distribution. Radio was not playing shyt that didn't even have physical release in 2007.

The fact that Jim Jones was even all over radio when he was independent is a win in itself, radio was the major labels microphone and payola driven. So to be blackballed and be on radio, bet and mtv while independent would make you a very special person. Seeing how certain major people couldn't even get there.

If x promoter ever wants to book Jay-z or artist he has influence with they are told not to book Jim Jones. You can have your guest appearances limited as people wont work with you or a label won't clear them being on your album. You can lose access to producers and videographers as well.

Still doesn't make sense that you are working with Jay-z's friends, getting played on "Jay-z's stations" and getting deals with Jay's friends if you are trying to blackball him. Why the hell would Jay blackball someone in LA and not NY when he's better connected in NY and was in NY at the time.

I did not not write an exhaustive list of every single way that someone can get blackballed, I'm stating reasons for why one isn't. Having influence and using it negatively are completely different things.
