This is simply not true, and I'm puzzled as to why you'd even think this. CD has the clearest quality of any platform. I can put on either Reasonable Doubt from '96 or the Game's Documentary 2 and both would be crystal clear. You're telling me that if I put on Thriller in an original record player (both of which I actually have), the sound quality would be better??? That is a flat out lie :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:you may as well say a cassette player has better quality too :russ:

This nikka really doesn’t have a fukking clue and he’s cocky about it, comparing vinyl audio to cassette :mjlol:

You walking around with a CD player in 2019? :mjlol:

:what: That's not the point of this thread. OP just said why CD sound better sound quality better than over streaming which is he's right.

Don't you have a cd in your car?. Do you think I'm going to throw all my cds away after I bought them and waste my $$$. I keep them as collection.

Yes, CD THEORETICALLY has the best quality...but in practice, as in how the engineers process the audio that ends up on the CD? Absolutely not. Starting around the mid-90s mastering engineers, usually at the behest of labels or artists that are kinda ignorant to sound quality started making CD ausio as loud as possible while compressing the sound and squashing its dynamic range to make it loud, causing excessive clipping and brickwalling where sounds lose their texture in order to reach a uniform level of loudness. This shyt is actually quantifiable, dog:

Hell, you can even compare waveforms if you really want to break it down.

'83 is the vinyl, '91 is the first CD release, which is pretty reasonable, then a 1999 CD reissue which is a complete disaster.

So yes, a vinyl of Thriller more than likely DOES sound better than a remastered CD release. Not because CD is necessarily worse, but the way it's used? CD's usually fare worse in the quality standpoint.

Nobody’s walking around with a CD player you corny c00n, play a cd in your car, then play that same album from your phone, it’s a very noticeable difference in quality, but people let it rock cause streaming’s convenience is incredible. Dumbass.

THANK YOU!

Interesting. I'm going with CD. People who choose Vinyl over CD was because of nostalgia but CD is way better for sure.
Na vinyl quality is unmatched. It’s just that people don’t have the equipment most importantly a quality needle. Bass on vinyl is so clear and deep.
Kinda sucked tho bc those needles didn’t last long.
Only :old: cats like myself know tho

I just streamed Hate Me Now and damn, you're not bullshytting. Sounds musically like one of those remakes artists like DMX and Coolio have done 15 years after the fact.

Best sound quality I've heard through a streaming service is from Google Play Music. That was two years ago though.
