nikka please. everyone's experience with show's varies. so for you to say that my experiences aren't valid because you've been to "hundreds of shows" and have seen black participate at hip hop shows, is fraudulent. i started this thread from my vantage point. if you want to speak on yours than do so, but don't come here trying to shyt on the things i've seen.

it's not like u can jump up and down to the music or nothing, shyts boring

Some acts know how to put on a good show and some don't. For example, the Diplomats show was ass cheeks last year at Rock The Bells cause they don't have a show put together. They just stand there and rap along like they are performing Karaoke

On the other hand, you have veteran acts that have worked out all the kinks of a live show and give you a real performance. Red & Meth, Wu, Cube, Public Enemy, OutKast, Goodie Mob, Naughty, Common Nas etc.

Cats like Red & Meth give such a good show that you don't even really have to be a fan to enjoy their show.

Co-sign this. I get in my own zone when it's a song I'm feeling, fukk if anyone else is standing or feeling it. In fact, I was at a show last week, some unknown dudes were opening, really trying to get the crowd hype, then they gave out free cd's (they only had like 10-15) and damn near had to beg for people to come up to the stage and take it, the white guys were the only people to go up before they started begging. I'm like come on, which avenue do we support hip hop, clearly not album sales but at least get hype and support these dudes live

I clearly did watch the video... Floatopia/Deltopia happens every year, and it's 10-12,000 people packed into a 2 block radius...you do know that at parties, people do stand around and mill about aimlessly...right?
