Idk, I couldn't have worked for years just to ride 25 year old cars as my daily car. I could see if it was some vintage, real antique valuable shyt, but a 92 Camry...fuk that. I have older cars in my yard, but they aren't my daily driver, big difference.

That's like never switching over to HD. hey those tube TV's still work...as long as I can see, cool. Nope.

Mexican dudes come up to me all the time asking if I’m selling :yeshrug:

Real nikkas know late 80s to early 2000s Toyota/Lexus and Honda/Acura are indestructible

I just don’t see the point of getting a new car every 3-4 years, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Plus I got 24/7 access to my uncle shop,do all my repairs by myself.

Mexicans dudes usually don't care about anything but getting to work and the store to buy more coronas. The fact they are asking about your car should be the automatic embarrassment, they're asking because it aint worth shyt, but still runs. I'm not even knocking your ownership, just it's your daily driver. fukk That.

I'm just a fan of older cars in general. The newest car I've ever owned is a 98, a Subaru Forester that I bought for my wife. I daily drive a 89 Chevy Caprice. I have an 89 Ford Ranger, a 92 Honda Accord, a 91 Honda Civic project car. Just hit a lick on a 97 Honda Odyssey, running and drivable, for $900. Did a complete tune up, cleaned the TCC solenoid which was triggering the check engine light, so after about $150 bucks I have a perfectly good vehicle. Gonna take it to my homeboy for a fresh coat of paint also, so add in another 500 or so. So 1500 all in. We almost spent 5k on a Suburban too before the Odyssey popped up on Craigslist :whew: But my wife wasn't sure if she wanted something that big, went and checked out the odyssey and she loved it ... Not the richest nikka, but nowhere near broke. My biggest thing is I don't like making payments. And I know how much money I can save. And I'm just a hands on nikka in general. Also I'm a car guy and I know what I'm looking for in a vehicle. The next car I plan on copping is a Lexus GS400 or 430. Most nikkas would be like why you copping a old lex, but I've always loved the body style, fukk the status. Id also like to have a CLK430, always loved those too. When I met my wife I had 90 chevy caprice. She loved it and the fact that it fit me so well. Before I met her I was fukkin with hoes that had Benz, bimmers, and ranges and shyt and I was just a nikka in a clean ass blue box chevy, wasn't even rimmed up.

Why would I be embarrassed driving a perfectly functioning vehicle, no car note, low insurance rate, and great on gas :what:

Drove all over the Midwest and down south in my shyt, never had a problem

As a daily driver. nah, not about that life. if you're young I understand. I stated I have older cars in the yard. That isn't an issue. Not driving a bucket everyday, worked too hard to not drive what I really like.

This my dream car :wow: 93-97 GS300
They hard to find tho, rarely see em in the road
I see where this convo is going and it's a tired one. When I was younger, I was just happy to have a car, didn't care what it was. I'm older now, been working for, drive what I want, not just what I can get.
obviously if you 40+ you deserve anything you want.
I’m just saying it’s nikkas my age copping garbage ass chargers or impalas then come crying to me at my uncle shop, I get a kick outta that shyt. I wouldn’t buy a new American car even if it was 90% off

Yall can cook with yall American and euro trash cars, im keeping my shyt til the wheels fall off

Nah I’m never departing from the Camry

Looking to throw a new engine in it with my refund check.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
Explain this.

I haven't put a new engine in no car in my driveway, and they're all paid for.

I also noticed why this convo is so odd, you're only 19. But don't brag about a car you didn't keep running from the start. Your car is older than you by a lot of year, someone else kept it running.

You wont because likely you can't. I sense a lot of hate in your posts. Even if their cars are having issues which I do think you're grossly exaggerating, those cats your age are hopefully building credit by having those cars in their names. I'm a Nissan guy, so none of this really matters much, but I just get a laugh at the clear salt.

Firstly, I wouldn't have anyone ever tell me they work on cars, real mechanics fix cars. Nobody practices on any of mine.

Sounds like you put more in than the car was worth and actually paid for it, but I understand...do what you can.

I actually know how to do most normal repairs on cars, my older cars I can fix myself, and none have had any major repairs. My newer ones are dealer warrantied and scheduled mx. if I'm replacing engines and transmissions....bushes. Havent never had to do that.

You still didn't answer why you're doing it to your bucket.
