Western culture worships brutality. Particularly Americans. Which is why guns are almost sacred in this country, they represent brutal force. A basic law of international relations is if you have a weak army you will sooner or later be invaded or overthrown and controlled.

We love to watch superheroes beat each other to a pulp, FPS shooter games, and over the top, hyperviolent movie fare because those represent our values.

Whoever told you this was sustainable does not stay up on history.

Really?
Can you link a quote?
I think he was better then Julie's career.

Plutarch mentions it I think. I learned about it in a history class that Augustus was compared to Alexander during his time but Augustus was apparently :childplease: about it and said it's much harder to maintain an empire than it is to conquer them.

But yeah, IMO Augustus >>>>>> Julius Caesar too. Dude came out of nowhere on some  "my uncle said I got next" using low key positions and titles he went through those muhfukkas like colonic.:picard:

Alexander the Great inherited a great army. Ghengis Khan made one.

Ghengis was fukking ruthless.
imagine you're in a squad in his army. now picture your squad charging into battle, but one of guys was late charging
Ghengis will kill him, his wife and kids, and the immediate family :damn:

and he fukked so many bytches, he makes Wilt Chamberlain look like AC Green

That's ironic because Julius Ceasar was like "Alexander did all of this before he was 30? I aint shyt" :francis:

I do agree with Augustus though. So much easier to fight and take over shyt than it is to rule

The cac had Greece, Macedon, Asia Minor, The Levant, Egypt and Central Asia

He should've been focusing on how to rule all that
