So watch your fukking mouth with that "priviledged" talk . We worked and suffered for this shyt:stopitslime:

other people work and suffer and have nothing, so yes i will say you are privileged in a system of capitalism. please dont excuse yourself into thinking anything you or your family has done as exceptional. you clearly have no idea how capitalism works if you think that a) the only people who have things are people who deserve them and b) working hard guarantees you anything

people will respect castro and the like for generations and there is literally nothing you can do about it idgaf about your feelings because until the world is fixed, there will always be more people who work hard as fukk and who are chronically poor than
"hardworkers" who have "earned" everything they have (even at the expense of poor wage laborers, nepotism, etc)

get over it, castro is respected by many and theres nothing you can do about it but post on a messageboard

all 23 million miles of useful land
I fukks with him, He was cool and stood with Malcolm, in fact he stood with many blacks when it came to it. When he came to the US, he stayed in Harlem at the Hotel Theresa. He also took in Assata Shakur, and told the US to fugg off many times

hmmm this explains alot. You US military?

@ZoeGod @Diasporan Royalty
No he was not. My father has never been military or attache of any sort.

The Haitian military bought a lot of American made equipment in the early 70s in the deals they made with the American government. Armored vehicles, tanks. But there were also passenger buses and 2.5 ton cargo trucks like the models in this pic

The armored vehicles and tanks were mainly maintained by American technicians that would come to Haiti every year and handle the scheduled maintenance stuff. But In order to save money the Haitian government used to hire local truck shops to maintain the passenger buses and 2.5 cargo truck they used to carry haitian soldiers from their home areas to their camps. My father's shop was one of 5 shops they used because he was one of the few Diesel Engine specialists in the country at the time (before 1970s there was only one dealer of american cars and trucks in Haiti and that is where my father was an apprentice in the 60s. Before that it was mostly French and German made car dealerships).

It wasnt much money and they often paid less than he asked and even super late sometimes but it was the cost of doing business according to my dad. :manny:. . THey still owed him money when he passed.

Doggy ive never said that only those who work hard get rewarded. I'm not one of those "pull your self up by you own bootstraps" republican f@ggots running their mouth on fox news. I know plenty of people who worked hard all their lives and have nothing to show for it.

However my family didnt invent capitlism. THey played the hand they were dealt to put themselves and their children in a better position to succeed in life. I'm not totally against communism. I believe their are some basic things that people should have available such as food, water, education, electricity, etc. However I have all those people in my family that came before to thank for the little that i have today and will be damned if i'm gonna be the one to throw the fruits of their labor away just because.

of course not but seems as if when they moved to the states, they'd support one another.
I was being sarcastic.

But here is the thing. TO YOU, from an American point of view they are all Cubans just like to them YOU and any white americans are all Americans, period. For the most part there arent a lot of black Cubans in the U.S. and the ones that are here usually stay with other Cubans. Are there SOME cubans that are racist and dont fukk with their black counterparts? Yes. But i dont think it's as cut and dry as you make it seem. Most cubans i know stick to their own. Black and white cubans. THey may not approve of their daughters marrying a black cuban (or any black person for that matter as i mentioned to you giys years ago about my cuban ex) but they still look out for each other.

the ether
?

Im not up to speed on this topic

Im around alot of Cubans & they cant stand this guy

I'm not a Castro fan, but considering how hard it was to leave Cuba, basing your opinions solely off of those who came to the USA is a biased sample.

It's like basing your opinion of California solely off of talking to right-wingers who relocated to Texas.
