Why do men take child support so personally?

I know a man who was embattled in a child support dispute with his ex-wife (with whom he shared 50/50 custody) when her attorney let some numbers slip. Turns out he was paying 100% of their "expenses"/care while with their mother, plus obviously 100% while they were with him. 40% of his income went to his ex-wife for child support. And she's remarried, taking vacations to Europe and he struggles.
Not okay. And the system is biased to the advantage of mothers.

Why? Because many women do it out of spite. My boy dealing with it now. Been separated from his baby moms for 3 years. During that time, lost his job, and could barely keep a roof over his head. Did as much as he could do for his son, given his situation. Baby moms cool....(cuz he struggling, and she making 90K+). Bro gets a new chick and gets married, a week later he got them papers. That's why it's taken personally, because many times it is.

Because men know the fact that he has to continue supporting the family without having a say in anything is a big reason for women to consider leaving. Even if he's a decent father and husband.
To me, a man should have a say in life decisions if he continues paying. No childsupportation without representation.

Why the fukk should a man who wants to be in his childrens life have to pay child support?

Wanting to be in your child's life isn't enough.

Give her your sperm, she hands you a child support notice.
Give her your sperm, she aborts the seed because it's her body.
Another dude gives her his sperm, she insists that it's YOUR child.

Men should stop giving out their sperm so freely.

My boy was paying for stuff, taking the kids etc... they got into an argument then she sues for support and wins... He still does stuff for the kids...

The way I see it ... 50/50 custody should not include child support.
full custody support will depend on visitation...if its never, then cool .. take the max 20%... but if the father there, can be depended on 24/7 amd the only issue was the parents didnt work out then it should be less...

my brother told me I was dumb for thinking that since my bf has his daughter about 3/4 days out of the week that he didn't pay child support. It just seems like it would make sense. You have the kid half the time you don't pay CS.

Child support isn't intended for the baby. It's a way for women to get back at their baby daddy

I don't think most men have a problem with the intended use of Child Support...I think most of them are concerned that the money is actually being used to support the child.
