Why do Nas/Jay-Z fans act like its still 2001?

I don't get it nearly every hip hop forum i've been on and even on YT and shyt you've got their fans arguing over a 10+ year old beef thats been squashed and they just try to degrade them as artists. Jay-Z was at Nas' LIG album release party, the beef is over and has been for 10+ years now.

I don't really harbor any ill will toward Camel

Hov stans otoh still think he won despite crying on Hot 97, losing a rigged radio poll, faking a retirement, and admitting defeat on Blueprint². Hence the shifting of any argument over the two to one of the following:

-He's got the baddest bytch
-He's got $$$

Both of which are immaterial to the question of "who won" in hip-hop terms. Camel wasn't coming at Nas or Mobb Deep on Takeover because he thought they were more famous/wealthy than him.
