It depends on what u think god is. If your religious u think he's human. Chilling with some hoes on a cloud eating some good BBQ. Playing the new PlayStation 89.

Its deeper than that we just can't comprehend it
. We Humans are an interesting species we think we know it all. We don't know shyt compared to whats out there.

How do you know you can't comprehend it if you claim you can't comprehend it?

Religious people stay letting poetic and empty phrases get the best of them.

nobody taught me to beleive in God since childhood I always did.. my parents never pushed religion on me as they both had different religions.. my father is a muslim and my mom was a catholic now she's just spiritual. I had some miraculous experiences when I was younger that my next door neighbors could attest to.. so I wasn't programmed.... how about the first man to believe in God was he programmed?

I find it funny your notion of 'god" is not only masculine but also shares qualities of the religions you were exposed to you.

I was only taught that there is a God, that's all breh. You can use the programming argument for anything. You need some kind of basic programming to develop your mind to the point it can logically understand more complex things.

We're all taught stuff, we even teach ourselves stuff by observation and using our five senses.. that's how we learn isn't it? Since we only have 5 senses to perceive stuff we mostly learn about the things we can perceive. This leaves out all the things we cannot perceive, which might hold the keys to some of the answers we seek. It is only recently that we've been able to research a small amount of the things our five sense cannot pick up. To me science is doesn't disprove God (maybe religious texts)at all, shyt is just an explanation on how the grand architect created all these things.

Abraham didn't invent a religion per se. All he did was believe in a single solitary creator in a time where people believed all kinds of things, no more no less.

Yep...so i'd say you learned something and took it for granted and try to fit everything you know into that same frame isntead of seeing if that god actually exists.

I believe in god or a higher power, I don't believe in the stories of the bible though.
Does that even make sense? :patrice:
It makes absolute sense.

You're a complete bullshytter. :obama:

You want the benefits of belief (namely afterlife etc) without being held to the obvious bullshyt of the stories.

Just admit you made your own religion up and spare us your sophistry.

So, you never known someone who was extremely ill and pulled through with the best of health? Medication didnt do that alone. He's the healer of the sick.

so we ignore all the ones god didn't save?

Cause last I checked sometimes people get better and sometimes they don't.

I'd love to see those odds BEFORE the 20th century medicines you seem to trivialize.

Are you able to function using your 5 senses?
Other animals have other senses...For example birds are sensitive to magnetic flux

Are you in good health?
Define "health"
God has blessed you in health even if you do keep yourself in tip top shape.
this doesn't make any sense.
If you can walk and talk be grateful that you can.
so its not vitamin D, and exercise?
God is the reason you are breathing.
i'd like to think its a relation of gas exchange and negative pressure in the lungs...
You feel you cant continue He pushes you not to give up.
or societal motivations rooted in the allocation of and pursuit of resources.
But you're gonna give me some talk about how im wrong & yadadada... so, im leaving this thread. You dont believe, and i cant convince you so once again stay blessed.
It sounds like you failed every science class you've stepped foot in.

:aicmon: Y'all sayin' "accidents" as if somehow the big bang couldn't possibly occur within' billions or trillions or how many the fukk years. Yes, an accident could have very well occurred throughout time (that's alot of fukking time for the impossible to happen), but no one truly knows

The only thing keeps me perplexed is about where did all of the organic compounds come from that make it all possible. I've read alot on abiogenesis and it only led to more headaches. I will really sit here playing mental gymnastics asking, "But where did that come from and how was it formed in the first place :dwillhuh:?" Once I ask myself that question, google some shyt, I start to have questions about the answer to that question and keep on going until I hear the mail truck pull up the next day mid afternoon :wow:

I don't believe in a God, but I can see how easy it is to fall into that line of thinking for some people. Religion doesn't do much to help matters either :scusthov:

Take organic chemistry and a few biology classes. It'll start to make sense.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
how is something "outside" of physics?

You posting 13 of the last 14 replies in this thread tests the laws of thermodynamics :banderas:

So breh, you're saying the laws of physics would work prior to the big bang? Or are you going with a different theory on how the universe started, at the end of the day you'll just be furiously googling shyt and pretending you know what you're talking about, like you're the Coli's resident Astrophysicist.
