because its comforting to think that theres an all powerful figure waiting with open arms when you die
maybe there is a 'god' but no human can comprehend it. thats why religious texts are not only fulla shyt but pure human arrogance
lets start with my favorite: "god created men in his image"
how can u even say that with a straight face? look at the fukkin galaxy. but he chose US to make in his image and put all that other shyt out there cuz he was bored
if that 'fact' doesnt clue you in to the bible being

of course it makes sense... The bible doesn't have a monopoly on God... hell there was thousands of different christian groups after the death of christ and none of them were even called christians.. they were consolidated and not by choice.I believe in god or a higher power, I don't believe in the stories of the bible though.

I'm a not-so-firm believer of the terror management theory. Basically says that human beings created religion to deal with their fear of their eventual demise -- something no other creature has to deal with. More here.
With that being said -- this universe is on a crazy large scale and it couldn't have been an accident, could it? If so whatever created it is probably too large, old, and powerful to be worried about us.

If you think life is exclusive to Earth out of the 70+ sextillion planets in our universe...you need to rethink your "show". We are stars to this planet because we have the brain capacity to overpower any other animal here...but other than that, we are not special....especially if you think a being created this planet, imagine how advanced his civilization must be. We are by no means "stars" breh...just a byproduct of the real stars.

Breh you were talking about earth so I mentioned earth... we are the stars here don't even forget that. If you think we're not special then i suggest you take a look around you. Yeah there's an infinite amount of planets which gives room for an infinite amount of different species that could've evolved way before us yet here we are with no real proof of their existence.
