I get the opposite I'm quiet but seem very serious. I have been told most of my life than when I'm angry I give a look of death. A co-worker once put it as "you got a face that says don't fukk with you"

People are idiots.
I'm more extroverted than introverted, but we tend to take someone not talking to us personally.
It really cuts them deep because they're awesome but you're evidently not convinced.
Not to mention humans are uneasy with what they don't know. A guy who doesn't divulge much about himself makes them uncomfortable.
I think if anything, some folks talk too much.
You don't know someone is a fool until they open their mouth.
Small talk has its' place, but sometimes if you don't have anything of substance to say, just shut up.

Suddenly...
Person: "Shaktus! Hey, can I sit here?"
Me: "I was just (insert solitary activity here) and grabbing a bite, but you can sit here... How you been? "
Person: "Me? Well, I was.... (proceeds to talk about ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for 20 minutes)"

Quiet people are not the norm nowadays, especially among Black people.
