Two of the best health eating channels out there imo are Yahki Awakening and Nathaniel Jordan (The Minister of Wellness). Their theory of eating your fruits, and juicing your vegetables, has yet been challenged, atleast with any success. Yahki, is the first one I heard advocate this. But a lot of their eating advice is based on healing. That's where getting different recipes for mixing fruits and vegetable can come in handy. Myself, I learned not to listen to anybody 100%, because some of their information can change. This can be true with your doctor as well. I still remember how all my doctors kept subscribing Prilosac for GERD. It never helped, plus I found out later it was giving me a more serious problem. I was the one who took myself off that medication, not any of my doctors. And both of those health problems reversed.
Btw, I bought a juicer last month, and started juicing my vegetables more, the greens especially. By surprise, my craving for meat got cut in half. But I went out of town soon afterwards. Yesterday was the first time I juiced vegetables since I got back. That's how far off I fell. But I immediately noticed that meat craving reduced again. It's something about drinking greens that reduces those cravings. Oh, I juice the right amount of fruits with my greens, so it won't taste too bitter, especially the kale.
Btw, I knew somebody was gonna compare Yahki to that "In Living Color" skit that use to be done by Damion Wayans. That's a little too much stereotyping. I knew a brother in real life, who looked and talked just like Damion Wayans in that skit. First, he never been to jail. Second, he was using real words. Third, he wound up right about everything he said.
