I lost 55 pounds a year and a half ago, eating from this fruit and vegetable recipe book, without exercise or weight-training. They also had these desserts in this recipe book, which were the only things that had enough flavor for me. Most of the other meals were taking too long to get use to, or took too long to prepare. These desserts consisted of dried fruits, which gave them flavor. I don't have diabetes, but my numbers had been getting close before I started that diet. Later out of nowhere, I got an email from them, telling me I had no business eating any of those desserts, if I had concerns of high sugar levels. The desserts, although I wasn't eating them everyday, were the main things helping me stay on this diet. So I wound up stopping the diet, and regained 20 pounds. That's why I don't listen to nobody at 100% anymore. A year later, my sugar level is the same where it was before I started that diet, which was a relief, although I never checked it while I was on this diet. I can say I did lose 30 pounds out the whole thing. I did a little weight-training along with this 20 pound weight gain. It don't look bad, but a brother my age still need to lose about 30 or 40.
