Why do Playstation players here hate Xbox so much?

I really do feel like Xbox is the Kareem Abdul-Jabar of gaming.

Xbox origin story was Bill Gates wanted to beat Sony. They entered the game and just tossed money at everything aimlessly. It rubbed people the wrong way.

This, I don’t hate Xbox at all, they could do no wrong when I was playing my 360 till 3am ever night as a teenager, but xone was fukking awful damn near all the way through, one of the worst gens we’ve seen,

7 years and all you have to offer is Sea of Thieves, Gears 5, Forza, Ori, Halo 5 & the Master Chief Collection?

I fukked with Xbox heavy when Halo was the new Goldeneye, Xbox live and when Gears of War came out. After awhile, life got in the way and I missed the whole PS3 generation.

I got back into gaming back in 2015. I noticed that the Xbox One only had the same shyt I was playing years ago (halo, gears and forza).

I wanted something different so I copped a ps4 because all my gaming folks couldn’t believe I missed out on TLOU and luckily the remastered version was already available for the 4.

Notice how in @Gizmo_Duck thread most people just laughed it off. Don’t nobody “hate” PlayStation. To Sony stans merely not being a Sony stan means you “hate” PlayStation.

in this thread nikkas actually came in trying to explain why they “hate” Xbox. Instead of it just being a product they don’t care about.

It wasn’t bad either. Last generation the HD consoles probably had like 85% the same library overall. I know fanboys try to act like the other 25% makes all the difference in the world but it doesn’t. If you had 85% of Jeff Bezos money would you care about the 25% you didn’t have?

Unless you’re into niche games and JRPGs like myself either console for the most part had you covered for mainstream games.
