I'm about to get in the shower but I will say even though I find some of @Matt504 's points worthy of eyerolls, once I engage him it is actually refreshing as I usually don't get to argue points to their bare bones with anyone these days. Most times it has degenerated into name calling and wishing of rapes long before then, sadly. I disagree with about 50% of his stances but even the points you disagree with will make you pause and consider. Steel sharpens steel.

I get that and somewhat agree. But I always discourage women from being outright rude in their response. That man put himself out there. At least recognize that he was trynna be nice. A simple 'No thanks' would suffice, all the extra is unnecessary.

If I offer a man some of my cooking and he's not hungry, I'ma feel some kinda way. It's best if he let me down easy.

I work with a chick from NY and she told me one day that it was a culture shock moving to Houston because men held the door for women. She didn't know how to feel cuz they don't do that shyt up north.

She said on one side it felt great to her but because the strong feminism she was accustomed to in NY had her in her head like "I don't need a man to do something for me that I can do myself."

I told her a lot of us were raised that way down here so just look at it as a friendly gesture and say thanks.

I think women being told that men always want something in return for doing something nice, or will fukk anything we see has prematurely tainted women's vision of men. Then men become cold toward them which leads to their vision becoming reality.

This ain't always the case. But it happens often.

I worked with a woman like this a few years back. I held the door open and she made a comment about me not having to hold the door for her, but in the rudest way. Light skinned chick. Thought she was all that. So I said I was trying to be a gentleman and she kept talking that typical angry bytch bs...

The next time I saw her coming while I was at the door, I tried to slam it in her face.



She was PISSED and called me an a$$hole. She’s lucky it had the air thing that slowed the door down. I waited with a smile until she got right by it too.

People will employ a laundry list of excuses, and reason for maladjusted,behavior. In my field, in particular, I'm never at a loss at the justifications one comes up with to rationalize terrible acts.

The simple solution is to stop being nice to random women simply because you think you're suppose to be polite to them. I don't hold open doors for ugly-average women because I don't care about them. I stopped doing that when I realized that many average and below average women are the ones that have an attitude problem and blame the world because they're not desired.
I literally only do polite things for women that look good and have a relaxed demeanor. It can lead to a conversation or at least an ego boost for me so
