Why do some black people praise Cheesecake Factory as if it's 5 star?

When I expose people to spots that are outside the the generic chains they know they are ALWAYS estatic about how much better it is than what their used to. I've got over 200 reviews written and everyone who knows me releys on my information to decide where their are going to spend their money.

In my experience nobody things papa johns is great once you take them to margaritas on Jamaica Ave. and this goes for all them other chains. Most people have no fukkkng clue

That changes nothing of what I said.

I don't see what's so hard to grasp about the fact that individuals have different taste and choose to go their or anywhere else.

People can do whatever they want, and I'm not going to lose sleep or anything if they want to get Applebees or whatever.The OP was talking about 'nice' meals, important occasions, etc. Not grabbing a quick bite to eat and a beer after driving 10 hours or something. So with that in mind:

Chain restaurant food is literally prepackaged and often precooked. You are not eating from scratch. You are eating something loaded with preservatives and microwaved. You can get cheaper food that's more highly rated. Why the hell would you still choose a chain then for a fancy/nice/celebratory/etc occasion?

their food is average, I've only walk away thinking damn that shyt is good once. The one in Cesar's palace I think was pretty bomb. Otherwise I'll go during the lunch menu when shyt is cheap.

I seriously don't get it. I grew up eating corned beef and rice for dinner so I really am not one to become snobby towards someones food choices. People eat what they like. Most of these mom and pop shops have high inconsistencies with their dishes and service due to the fact that they are prone to turnover so at least you know what you are getting when you go to chains.

I dare someone to act like Carrabas or Carmines doesn't have some good ass italian dishes that can rival those of Rao's or Acapella's.
