Why do some black people praise Cheesecake Factory as if it's 5 star?

I hate to see people front so much. lil perk of my job is n expense budget and I've entertained at some of the finest and expensive spots in the city. Ive had some amazing meals and tried a bunch of exotic ish but I'm not gonna shyt on cheese cake factory. I've been a handful of times and ive never had a bad meal.

And $120 for 2 there sounds about right. Apps, drinks ,desserts. I can tell some of yall frontin heavy and trying way too hard.

Edit: don't get me wrong shyt ain't fine dining. Just a casual spot to grab some grub after a lil shopping

This. It's a lunch spot to me. Pick up some things while shopping, grab a burger or whatever and chill.

Me & my girl were in Mobile not too long ago for a relatives graduation & so we ate at Bonefish on our way out of town.
We're leaving and a car pulls up directly next to us.
A white family of four hops out of the car decked out like they're going to a world premiere.
The mom does a double take at one of kids and starts tripping.
She demands her son get back in the car because his dress shirt wasn't up to snuff.

The menu is like the bible...so you know they not great at any dish. I hate that place

My wife worked there during college.....the one in Buckhead ATL.....she said that's where the broke people go to 'Ball' on some food.

If you're in a big-medium sized city there's no need to f*ck with them at all. They're really fattening because of their large portions and use of butter and salt on everything.. But at the same time Cheesecake Factory is a good fallback spot if needed. Most have a nice interior/ambiance with a cool bar so its respected

lmao. this place stopped being my favorite go to spot for anything other than fast food last year cause they fell off.

I remember the first time me and my homies went here by accident. we were in Secaucus and Olive Garden had a couple hours wait. we just wanted to eat and go home. so we said fukk it and hit up Bonefish instead, not knowing what it was. everyone was dressed casual and here the four of us come in dressed down and didn't give a fukk. this was back in 2005, but now it's just like any other chain restaurants.
