i understand the respect he's earned from being the super-tough, "no-fukks-given" small guy/one man army dude who made a significant cultural impact on the nba, the style of play, the fashion, etc. but if you can't see the big gaping holes in iverson's game, then you're a stupid motherfukker...and your basketball iq is dog shyt, straight up. he was a terribly inefficient (and yes, you dumb fukks, before you say anything, efficiency DOES matter) high-volume scorer who wasn't a particularly good defender, other than gambling and getting in passing lanes.
that said, although i'm clearly not much of a fan, i think people shyt on him a bit too heavy. he deserves props for what he did and what he was.
